Calling all covid couples!! Does less guests mean more room for pets?? 🐾

With all the changes that Covid-19 has forced couples to make to their wedding celebrations (including downsizing your guest list and moving the party outside), has it paved the way for your pet to play a more prominent role in the wedding day?

Are you now including your furbabies in your wedding pictures, ceremony, or celebration?? Tell us your pet plans or share pics if you have them!! 📷

I wish!! My fiance and I totally want to find a way to include our cat in our wedding. Though she's very shy and tends to hide from people, so we're not sure how to go about including her. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them!

Yes! Our wedding was originally supposed to be in a different state from where we currently live. Due to Covid though we had the wedding closer to home and were able to take pictures with our cat the day of. Are you including your pet in your minimony? 🐾 1

I thought about it but another expense plus logistics just would not be worth it. Would have loved some pics with her though. Smiley sad

I love my pup but he would be so stressed out at the wedding. He's a nervous little thing and will be much happier napping in the window

Our venue has the option to have our dog In the ceremony but not the reception. With how far away we live it’s not worth bringing him with.

We won't have her as part of the ceremony as she's a german shorthair and would be going absolutely crazy running around with all the new smells and birds in the area. We will bring her over to the reception venue that she's been around many times for pictures and such, but then she'll go home after awhile as it will be a lot for her.

I wish my dogs were calm enough to attend in person but they are young and crazy! I did make card board cut outs of them to sit in front of our sweetheart table!

Unfortunately, no. We plan on having him there for our "big" postponed wedding next year though. We'll be eloping and taking off on a minimoon after, so our pup is staying with grandma!

Our venue is allowing our babies to be a part of our ceremony so we’ll be taking pics right after with them! I’m so excited. I’ve been looking something cute for them. 13 more days 💕💕

We wish we could bring our furbabies to the wedding but our cats would not enjoy it and our puppy would be too crazy! Instead, we got this custom cake topper made for them so they could be included in some way. Are you including your pet in your minimony? 🐾 2

We have a pointer too! And as much as we would have loved to include her in our day - especially because it was on our property and we had to downsize to 30 people. GSP's just require SO much attention and supervision Smiley xd

They sure do! She would be fine until a bird flew by and then we would have to be holding her back from chasing after it 😂

We are planning to take pictures with all three of our dogs. We are hoping to have them at the ceremony but since our state is still shut down and we aren’t sure where the ceremony will be, we aren’t sure they can there. FH is getting them all tuxedo collars and he’s making a sign for our oldest boy, a German Shepherd/Malamute that I had when we met, that reads “I loved her first” for the pictures. If they can be in the ceremony, the last boy we adopted will stand with my FH and mine will walk me down the aisle with his two human brothers. Our puppy has severe anxiety so we are only having him do pictures with us.

Yep!! Our dog is our ring bearer! She's got the cutest collar with a bow to carry our bag of rings down the isle. She was also in our engagement photos! Are you including your pet in your minimony? 🐾 3

I wish so badly, but my English Bulldog is too big, too excited, too hyper, and drool non stop 🤣. He jumps and humps anyone he never saw, or when we back from a very short outing. Our photographer saw him and we all could see the fear on her face, so we didn’t even let him out from the livingroom. Otherwise he is a darling. Just a 90lbs-ish pup that doesn’t know how big he is.
