My soon to be SIL is one of my bridesmaids and my soon to be BIL is one of my FH's groomsmen, his only two siblings. For as long as I've been dating my FH, I've always hung out with his family so I've gotten pretty close with his sister and we had things in common which made it easier for us to relate. My three brothers are also his groomsmen as he has grown close with my brothers as well.

My future cousin in-law is a bridesmaid. I love her to pieces. I felt it only right to have her there with me!

Yes, I feel obliged to include them. He has six siblings and I have one. Needless to say, we have a large wedding party.

We are not having a wedding party. We are spending the time that we take to prepare with our families, and we will dine with them at the reception, but we do not have any specific tasks or roles for any of our family members besides to celebrate the day with us.

FH’s twin sister is my MOH.

I was excluded from from my own twin brother’s wedding 20 years ago. I’m still a little bitter about it.

I do not get along well with my sister. When we first started I tried to do the right thing and make her my bridesmaid but shortly after going dress shopping that went downhill. SO I booted her. I don't have any friends or anyone else close enough to me to replace her. My MOH is my fiance's sister. I've been extremely close to her , our entire relationship , so that was a no brainer. I had my Fiance's niece as a bridesmaid but she got pulled because of a softball game she might have the day of. (Dramatic Eye roll) . So I have both my FH sisters in my wedding party and that's it. He will have his brothers in his wedding party, and including my little brother which he has taken under his wing and they are close. So yeah. I pretty much only have my In laws in my party but I'm not complaining.

We both have siblings so we mixed it up a bit. My best girlfriend was my maid of honor because I am the oldest and neither of my sisters were interested but they were delighted to be bridesmaids and I added my husband's niece. His daughter was also asked to be a bridesmaids but she declined a few months before the wedding. His youngest niece was the flower girl and one of my two brothers was one of his groomsmen and my oldest nephew was the ring security. It worked out great for us overrall :-)

My FSIL is in the wedding! That was 100% my choice, as I have been with my FH for 11 years and have always been close to his sister.

FH decided the other day he ‘should’ have his brother as a GM. *sigh*
I don’t particularly care for FBIL but what can I do? At least it gave me an excuse to add an old friend as a BM. (Had planned on only MOH & BM)

Ours is all family except for one. My two brothers are standing up for me, and FH has his sister and one of his oldest friends standing up for him. My dad is officiating, FHs niece is the flower girl and my two adult children are walking me down the aisle. It was important to me that we include our respective families.
