I'm not having a beach theme or anything. Do you think this is ok to do? Is anyone else considering flip flops at their reception. Thanks =)

    Brandi, found them on zappos.com. They were not cheap -- the brand is Volatile and the style is called Bridal. They are very pretty though and very comfy!

    I am wearing flats because my hubby is only 6inch taller than me and i also what to keep it that way. But i am considering getting flip flop for my guest too...My family are not the most refined so they would probably take of their shoes and just start walking bearfoot....

    @Chuwana - you can buy bulk flip-flops from dollartree.com.

    I wore glam heels for the ceremony and pictures, then changed into my trusty cowboy boots for the reception. I'm not a fan of flip-flops though, I think it's way too hard to move gracefully in them. All that thwacking and shuffling! (Yes, I'm a snob.)

    Glad to see other ladies like to go barefoot! I was at a wedding dance last weekend and managed to wear 3 1/2" heels through all the dancing and whatnot. After I got a lil tipsy the shoes had to go! We walked in the hotel bar (which was carpeted btw) and the moment my bare feet touched that floor some b!tches were harassing me! Sayin 'if you can't walk in heels, don't wear them..etc..) If I hadn't been 3 or 4 sheets to the wind at that point I woulda knocked her a$$ out! Lol and I'm a lover! I live in ND, not exactly hi society! Haha, I think they were jealous I was lookin pretty good that night hehehe...sorry to ramble on your thread Brandi I just had to get that out cuz it really pissed me off! Ahh I feel better now Smiley smile
