Anyone share their wedding website on Facebook?

What I did was copy my URL and sent it by text to who I was inviting.. I'm sure you can do the same through private message on Facebook.. If you just post it on your wall everyone one of your Facebook friends will know your wedding business.

Yeah i keep my wedding stuff of of FB as much as possible. I wouldn't suggest doing it. They might think of it as an informal "here's the info and expect an invite soon." If they want to really see it or know about the wedding i'm sure they could by word of mouth or through mutual friends and family.

No experience but I personally wouldn't do it. I've shared engagement photos but that's the extent I'm going. I think there is too much sharing going on these days I kind of think its special to share less on the Internet and more in person. If there are some people that you think would really like to see it that aren't invited or can't make it then I would PM them.

We don't have a Wedding website but if I were you I wouldn't post it on FB. I would find it rude actually that someone would post it and I'm not even invited to share that moment, it wouldn't be fair. We both have FB accounts with "engaged" statuses but that's about it. The only people who knows about our wedding plans or date are those whose invited or in the wedding. I just find FB more of a public space while I'm a private person. NOW if you want us WW ladies to view it we would love too

Our date, time, and venues are listed. There is no way I'm putting that on facebook because it would like asking my high school graduating class to crash. Not going to happen!

An acquaintance of mine from college posted hers, and I enjoyed seeing it, but I was looking at it more to be a snoop than anything else.

Oh hell nooooo! Posting it on FB is asking for a world of hurt. Don't do it!

I ask because I remember an old co worker sent out the link to his site and I knew I was not invited but I thought it was sweet to look.

I will not be posting it. I will email the link to all my guests. Yes it would be way too much drama lol

I concur with Luckiest, you will have people who just want to be nosy and possibly use it against you. Also the wedding crashes would probably happen. There's some mean spirited people out there.

I mean I secretly snoop them all the time when people do post them... And I get sad when they don't because I love reading the stories of old HS friends and things like that... But like someone else said- it's got all the location info on there I don't exactly want to broadcast that either.

I posted mine. Most of my responses were "Oh that looks great!" or something along those lines. I think most people have an idea if they are invited or not. No drama here so far.

A friend of mine posted his on fb AFTER the wedding. I actually got some ideas from their site.

I would be concerned about people showing up who were not invited, or needing to inform people who thought they may be invited that they actually are not.

I posted a link on mine...it wasn't an issue people know if we are close enough for them to be invited or not.

I wouldn't... but after it's all said and done you can update the site with the wedding pictures and maybe post afterward so people can see?

I posted mine on facebook then again it is a destination wedding lol. No one is willing to come to Mexico. Hey they cant say I didnt invite
