Anyone have a tattoo of your FH or husband name.

Both FH and I are against tattoos and there's no way we'll ever get each other's name or anything else tattooed on our boday. Surprisingly I get asked that question a lot, so does he, We always say "No i don't want a tattoo, You don't put a bumper sticker on a Bentley.." lol, and I'm terrified of needles...

@Destiny, it hurt, but it really wasnt that bad. And trust me i know what hurts, i have 8 tattoos lol. But its sensitive, but not extremely so. You just have to remember to relax your hand is all. My zebra tattoo hurt worse then my wrist to be honest with you.

I won't ever tat his name on me. I just think it's bad ju-ju. He says he'd get mine on him, but I don't think it's something he's planning on doing. Just he wouldn't be opposed. However, we did get matching tattoos of the Hedwig faces from Origin of Love. And it's a tattoo I would have gotten whether or not he did, so if anything were to ever happen, I wouldn't see any need to get rid of it. The only difference is that his just has the faces. Mine says "Deny me and be doomed" in between them.

@ Zebra love you zebra tattoo I agree it looked like it hurted a lot lol. But I will remember that if I decide to get the tattoo on my left wrist.

You guys are brave, because it is so risky. My dad was married to my mom for 20 years then decided to get her name tattoo on his arm with a heart. Two years later, he left her. He makes a lot of money that he was able to get laser to remove it since he remarried so quick :/

I have the begining of a tattoo. Its a tree and then I'm getting a bride and groom hanging from one of the branches. Its to symbolize "Till Death Do Us Part"! I'm pretty excited to get it finished!

I got FH's name and my name tattooed on my lower back about a year and a half ago. It says "Lucky in Love". i honestly believe in us, and we are both totally against divorce. he's stuck with me lol, and I with him. but, if anything ever happened or he left me, I personally wouldn't want to remove it or cover it up (which would be practically impossible cause its so big lol). He has changed my life and he'll always be a part of me, no matter what happens. He doesn't have a tattoo, but we are getting our wedding date in roman numerals with each other's name on our ring finger after we are married.

We said our first Tatts would be with our names..he got his and I chickend out lol ..So I just got a Song name on me instead..Till this day he reminds me I owe him his name ahah soon after we are married I said I would..I will have him locked down.

I have a tattoo of two butterflies and a dragonfly to represent my two boys and my FH .. he is the same (family) only different.. I also have my boys last name on my ankle but that was put there for my boys after I left their father not before.

I salute all of you all who have tatts. I am 40 and couldn't bring myself to the pain. I guess I got enough battle scars back in my hay day...lol

I got my FHs initials on my foot. He's also my daughters father. I try not to think about all the "what Ifs" cause I try to have faith in my relationship.

FH actually got my name on his shoulder first. I waited a few years before I had the b..lls to do it.

I have a six inch claddagh in my "tramp stamp" area. Each of my daughter's names are in each hand, and the FH's name is in the heart. I have no worries about ever needing to have it removed. I will be 50 when we get married, I figure if, God forbid, I find myself a widow(Divorce is out of the question.)if I do date again, which I highly doubt, if the new dude minds, he can say, "Adios!"

I think it can be cute and tasteful if done right...FI has a lot of tattoos...two for me so far one thats says "Blessed by LW" surrounded by purple roses and another portrait of a woman (me I guess?) looking down with my birth date underneath. Also, since his fingers have a really hard time holding rings he was going to get a tattoo on his ring finger once we're married. I don't have any for him...thinking of getting one since I know it would mean so much to him..but where and what?! hmm

All I can think of is Johnny Depp and "Wino Forever" when people talk about getting tatts of partners names. No thanks.

I have a couple big ones on my side, but my FH won't let me get his name cause he says that when people do that it never ends up big so what i have instead is the poem he wrote for me on one side and our saying "Forever I Love" across my shoulders each one is more special then his name

I am thinking of getting FS initials tatted on me! Plus in any case our son has the same initials! lol!

We got each other's initials tattoed on our wedding fingers because we didn't want a tangible display of our marriage that could be lost, stolen, broken, or used spitefully. The theme for our wedding was "forever love", and we are very dedicated to that and our vows. If he dies before me, any man after him would have to understand, or not marry me because it's going no where!
