Anyone have a tattoo of your FH or husband name.

I swore I would never have anyone's name tattooed on me, I have my best friend's initals on my lower back on her memorial tattoo. But I wouldn't get his name or initials. I have 1 on each ankle that some days I would love to get removed but other times remind myself, that's who I am and where I've been kind of like a road map

I have my husbands name on my arm. This was my boudoir photo so I hope its not too graphics. My husband doesn't have any tattoos and won't get any. Oh well if it doesn't work my son has the same name. JK! LOL!

I would never get his name ive always said the only names I would get would be children. We are going to both be getting rose tattoos though with our wedding date at some stage and we are getting Aidens name.

My FH doesn't have my name on him, however, he does have 70/12 on his left ring finger. It's an inside joke between the two of us. He also has his daughter's name above a big cross down the middle of his back, and her initials on his right ring finger. He wanted "both of his best girls" on him

I have my FH name across my left breast I got after us being together for only a month good thing we are 6yrs in cuz at that time I don't know what the heck I was thinking but I wouldn't change it.

We talked about getting our wedding date tattooed on our ring fingers. Even tho our rings would cover it LOL.

I don't have the guts to! My ex-husband however, is remarried and his new wife has to look at my initials on his back!

I'm getting our wedding song title instead of his name and it goes along with my other tattoos as well.

I have tattooed...covered up and retattooed and now regret. Doubt I would ever put another name on me unless it was my children

We've talked about getting matching tattoos, but I don't think either of us would get the other's name tattoo'ed. I'm not superstitious to believe that it would doom our relationship or anything like that, but I just don't think we'd do it. I do like the idea of us having matching tats though.

I have three tattoos, one on my chest, one on my lower spine, and one on my right ankle. The one on my ankle is the only dedicated tattoo and it's my cat's paw prints. She has unique prints. The one on my chest and lower back are tribal. I will never get any names on my body unless they are memorial or are my children. They say that tattooing something on your body related to another person is a good way to kill a relationship. My cousin and his ex-girlfriend got matching tattoos and now he hates her. I've seen/heard too many stories like that to ever get something like that. The only time my FSs name will be tattooed on me will be when he passes away (if he goes before me) and I'll do that no matter how old I am (even if I'm 90.) I had my back tat long before it became a trend and I despise the term tramp-stamp. =-\ The chest one I got when I was 18 (and stupid). I'd like to do something more with it but not sure what yet. The back and print ones have meaning though. I drew them.

I drew the paw prints and the back tat. The chest one was done horribly and I had to go back and get it redone because the guy who did it the first time was an idiot.

I will never get any names on me unless they are my childrens names when i actually have them. I have seen people do it, and then regret it. But this is just my personal opinion. Maybe when me and FH are married for 30 yrs, i will.

It is my personal opinion. But i disagree with tattooing your mate name will kill the relationship.But i do understand that could be a big commitment. However I do believe a healthy relationship is base on more then just a tattoo. Again only my opinion.

We dont have each others names but we have our initials intertwined with a rainbow around it...th pic is Amy's...mine isnt colored yet...but they are matching. This is a pic of when it was just done.
