You should start the exact same way as planning a more traditional wedding, and think about your guest list and budget! I’m not sure part of CA you live in, but Vizcaya in Sacramento does nice brunch weddings.

If you are from around or willing to go to Sausalito, our venue is beautiful right under the Golden Gate Bridge, super affordable and would look amazing on a brunch style

My daughter is having a brunch wedding at Ravenswood Historical Site (vintage/rustic setting) in Livermore with brunch catered by A Tasteful Affair (Pleasanton) with a deluxe Coffee and Mimosa Bar. She is also having cinnamon roll tiers instead of cake by Cinnaholic (Berkeley/Concord locations).
