Anyone else very indecisive and always rethinking their decisions?

The Nike slogan always comes to mind for me "Just Do It" =)

Once I make a decision I don't look back and I stopped looking at other vendors. For example, I found my photographer, booked her, put down the deposit, etc. Online, I've seen some friends' engagement pics and loved their photographer but I refused to do any investigation into them because I've already made the decision and I'm not looking back. Be confident in what you've chosen and move on. Second guessing everything only causes more stress.

That descibes exactly me! I just hope my fh likes my decision and if so he's very decisive. So if I bring him different ideals for the same vendor, he says no! I hope that makes sense! But yes he's the decisive and confident one!

Me me me me!!!! Thank goodness FH knows how indecisive I am and always backs me up on a decision so I'm less likely to second guess. Even months after certain decisions have been made, I'll be like 'hmmm we should have done this...' so he just reinforces our original decision and helps me out lol

I'm indecisive with some things, & dead set on other things. My plans have changed so many times, due to unfortunate circumstances, or due to bad judgment in picked venue... So I've adapted. In fact, my 2nd guessing has made things better, so I'm glad that I cant make up my mind yet lol

Omg this is totally me!!! I would love to change my wedding to a destination wedding or something a lot smaller than we have planned but we've already spent too much money to change anything now. When renew our vows we are doing a DW

Yeah, I've fallen in/out of love with my dress 20 times. Think of eloping all the time, then want a ceremony/reception. It's neverending.

Oh this is soooo me. But thankfully FH is included in all of my decisions so he reassures me every time that we made the right choice.

I can't get over the venue regret though...ugh...

That is so me! I'm like that with everything, not just the wedding. And the wedding is driving me bonkers. I go back and forth, and 2nd guess every decision I make. Mainly, I know this is bad- but I stress about what people are going to think. Gahh! You are not alone!

I don't know how to control it, but I do know that when I finally make a final decision, I know it's a good one. It's a good thing if you have a lot of time if you're an overthinker like me.

I tend to as well. I finally adopted the mindset from the movie 5 year engagement, at the end she just is like pick this or this...it can really be that simply lol. So now I try to just gather information. Make a list of 3 options and then PICK. Once I have decided I will not allow myself to second guess myself. Just commit to it.

I feel the same way. I am also a 2014 bride and have already changed my mind about venues I think 3 times now. I even commited to one and have now changed the whole wedding from a large one to eloping with only close family and friends. I will lose some of my deposit but thats ok.

I looked into vendors for our larger wedding and just found myself not able to commit to anyone because of the costs and all the details were driving me mad as a hatter!

I needed simplicity and found it was just not for me. I wanted to please my parents too thinking this is what they would be happy with as I am the only daughter but to my suprise they loved the idea of a small DW wedding and ultimatly just want whatever makes us happy. Cutting the budget by more than half, yes I am happy!

I think this would describe me in asking the same question. Anyone everyone else very kinda maybe sorta indecisive decided maybe not and always sometimes never rethinking decided over thinking their decisions or indecisions?

That pretty much is my daily life. I almost set my mind to painting the basement. My husband just says shiney object. I just know there is an easier way to do it or maybe get the kids to do it. But shouldn't I clean the walls again first?

Thank goodness! I'm so glad I'm not the only one. My problem is that I can commit to an idea but not make it final---- I have a dress/videographer/DJ in mind yet STILL haven't booked them. Surprising that I'm even getting married; I sound like I have a problem with commitment ;-)

I think like crazy before hand, but once I make a decision, I'm done. I also agree with what's been said previously...once I find a vendor and pay the deposit, I stop looking.

I was indecisive, but once I settled on someting I just didn't think about it again. Really, all that matters is that you get married, so make sure you have a groom, officiant, wedding license, and a couple witnesses, and nothing else really matters.
