Anyone doing pranks at the wedding?

Fatima, on July 12, 2011 at 1:42 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 34

We like to kid around a lot, and allowed each other one prank. This is what im doing:

During the Garter removal, we're going to blind him while i get settled in the chair. After he's blindfolded, switch places with grandma Smiley smile Remove blindfold after he pulls it off haha.

Too mean?? I'm probably going to do it still, even if you guys get mad about it =S It'll be a fun memory for our crowd (we have mean humor)

I saw this happen, but with about 10 people lined up! And not one was the bride! They used plastic table covering to drape over them, so it felt like the bride's dress. It was entertaining!

LOL! That sounds really funny, to me. He may suspect it though, since you are blindfolding him. Also, make sure you don't make too much noise.

We're thinking about telling him his blind-folded to make it more fun for him; he'd have to feel around for the leg, the garter (and hopefully he wont feel around for anything else, now that i think about it...)

I wanted to do a prank SO badly. We found a bunch of funny ones and then David got wind and got bitchy. So we went prankless.

And what Bud shots? I'm still trying to get my nerve up to do this.

Unless he is really nervous, or distracted.

Him feeling around for anything else would make for quite an interesting evening, wouldn't it. xD

You could do a joint prank... and he can pull fun stuff out while under your dress.

We are planning on rickrolling our guests at some point during the wedding. And we're playing the Jaws Theme during the garter placement Smiley winking

@ Hayley - you know that would be cute too! I could strap a nerf-gun, a string of flags *like what clowns pull out from their mouths*, maybe if we're sneaky enough... a Baby Doll HAHAHA!

I saw that prank done. The bride had a small bungy chord wrapped around her leg and in it was a baby doll, a condom, a pack of ciggs and a hotel key. It was super funny but now that I'm describing it, it seems like one of those things that you "had to be there" for.

Does anyone know any slow songs with funny words in them? I was also thinking about the Bridal Entrance song being something like "RUN WHILE YOU STILL CAN!" kind of song.

That or something intimidating, like OHHH GOD SHE'S COMING! EVERYONE TAKE COVER! One of the groomsmen had a good idea (which i cant take, id feel guilty), that when he gets married he wants the Darth Vader song playing when the bride walks in. HILARIOUS!

That sounds hilarious! Although maybe he should take the garter off and you and grandma could switch places right after (before he takes the blindfold off) to confuse him ?

Oh you know what Jen, that's a good idea too. That way its not TOO mean.

Great! Now im torn between a joint prank and a one-sided prank

You can ask him if he wants to do the "joint" prank... and then still prank him somehow..... Maybe have some sexy knee high boots on under your dress just for the garter????

Http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLI3fSgccZU maybe play this song when i walk down the aisle? Sounds frightening enough? We also LOVE heavy metal, so it would be a great way to tie it in without scaring the guests away.

Yeah I would def do a joint prank! I think the blindfolding / mom-swap will still be funny to ALL of the guests if he knows. I think it's less dangerous that way.

FH thinks the rickroll idea is great, Peacock.
