I would buy yards of flannel, cammo, gingham, etc fabric and use that for table cloths. Use mason jars with flowers for centerpieces. Old metal buckets on the tables with beer/ drinks...

If you want to steer away from "tacky", which I think sometimes this theme can turn into, you may want to check out this article with lots of great ideas Smiley smile

How about wooden sign wedding http://www.etsy.com/transaction/37320672? Have you thought about marrying at the barn?

*Instead of a "wedding cake" have homemade pies in different flavors and sizes

*Put wildflowers in mason jars for centerpieces

*Have home squeezed lemonade and sweet iced tea

*Have a bbq place cater or make your own bbq with all the fixings

I hope this helps Smiley smile

My cousin just had a redneck wedding. It was at a hunting lodge that they're members of. Outdoors, very woodsy, mason jar centerpieces with a couple flowers (I love mason jars and daisies), beer and wine and white christmas lights to give it more light since it was at night. It was super cheap and totally them!

I'm disturbed by reading "wildflowers in mason jars" for redneck wedding. I am planning on that but not a redneck wedding!!!! Sorry!

Cindy, I didn't mean that wilflowers in mason jars are redneck. It is a "country" touch, which she also asked ideas for. I suggested it because of the rustic/country feel of it, and because it's inexpensive. Tina is throwing a wedding in 7 weeks, for which I assume there hasn't been much saving up for, hence the more inexpensive suggestions. Just because it's redneck, doesn't mean it has be to be tacky.

Okay we are doing a country wedding, not redneck per se but still not much better. I decided no tuxes , which my FH loved, they are wearing their blue jeans and boots, as are me and my bridesmaids. We however will be in slightly fancier dresses. Our centerpieces and flower arrangements are done in mason jars, with river rock and candles. They turned out really well! Good luck

One of the redneck weddings I went to was at a hunting lodge with deer heads all over the place and random wooden critter cutouts with bright orange hunting vests on. The bride was from central PA, and she would only let so many of us (sorority sisters) come bc she didn't know how we'd take to it. Oh, and the lights in the place were all deer antlers, and the lodge was in the middle of nowhere.
