Alcohol from outside (of venue) distributor

Our venue is like that too and our estimate is that it'll be HUGELY cheaper - like at least by 5k. We're also going with a liquor store who will deliver and pick up any leftover bottles, refunding us what is unused.

Unless you buy incredibly expensive alcohol, it should be much cheaper. Also, try to find a store that allows you to return unopened bottles.

We brought in our own alcohol. For 62 guests we bought the following & had a lot of leftover.

Don't get overwhelmed. As long as you can return it OR you will use it, there're various websites that give you an estimate.

Also, you can always start a new discussion saying, hey folks, how about you help me figure this out :-)

I also wanted to add. Initially, since our guest list is so small, we were not going to hire a bartender. I have to say, at the last minute we hired a bartender and I am glad we did.
