(Albany, N.y. Area) Looking for a hospice and/or nursing home to donate wedding flowers to. Suggestions needed please!

My fiancé and I are going to donate the majority of our flowers from our wedding to a hospice care and/or nursing home facility. We aren't from the area, and although I can easily search for such facilities on the internet, I thought it best to see if anyone on here happens to be more familiar with the area and could help us out. Does anyone know of a facility that may be in more need than the others? We want those who may not have visitors or receive flowers to be the recipients. Sometimes just having surprise fresh flowers from an anonymous source can completely brighten some ones day.

The wedding is on June 8th 2019. The ceremony is in Valatie, N.Y. and the reception is in Castleton-on-Hudson, N.Y. I have discussed this with the reception venue and they will have someone meet the recipient at the reception venue the morning after the wedding. I appreciate any and all help! Thanks!

This is such a beautiful idea Smiley smile

I'm sure whoever receives them will be delighted and it will definitely brighten their day!

Have you picked any more facilities?

What a great idea! When I worked at a skilled nursing facility, we would sometimes just have people call directly and ask the director about it. You could do a quick google search of hospice centers, nursing homes, hospitals, community centers, senior centers, and senior living communities nearby and call them directly. If it's a huge amount of flowers, you could have 2-4 places come and take them from you. Most places would be happy to have them for resident rooms, flower arranging craft classes, etc.
