420 Colorado wedding

Serina, on December 25, 2018 at 10:55 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 10
We are doing a destination wedding in Colorado. About 50 people, hoping to be able to have our own catering brought in as well as alcohol. Also must be 420 friendly. Any one have any ideas?

Have you tried searching on the WW venue tab?
Or maybe check out some lodges in the area?

420 friendly is going to be tricky as most venues are unlikely to have a social consumption licenses. I would focus your search on AirBnb's, just to be very open with the hosts about what you're looking for.

I did a quick google search and found this site, which looks like a good place to start: http://www.loveandmarij.com/

Omg!! This is a million times better than what we're doing!

We were going to honeymoon in Colorado until we found out Oregon was cheaper

My cousin got married in CO this passed July and they had some special desserts from what I understood (didn't attend). Don't know much about it, but I think it's possible.

Most wedding venues in Colorado are not 420 friendly, you’ll have to do quite a bit of legwork to find them. I’d start googling 420 weddings Colorado and I’m sure some will come up.

yeah the majority of us don’t actually consume and most public venues and places want nothing to do with it, it won’t be quite as easy as you may think.

and just like with an open bar, please plan transportation for your guests Smiley smile

    This.

It's actually not legal to smoke in public or in venues. I can't comment on the eating. I think AirBnB is a good idea.

As an aside, a few cute things I have seen done is handing out joints or buds with "our joint union" or "let love grow".

Hey Serina!! I love some of the suggestion that was mentioned in the previous comments! Have you been able to find somewhere that can accommodate? We also have an awesome guide that provides creatives ways to have a 420 wedding! - How to Serve Weed at Your Wedding

I am also trying to plan a 420 wedding, even tho, I don't smoke and don't care much for the smell. With that said, I am trying to accomplish a 420 wedding with a different room or lounge or even a place outside.
    Any ideas for me

Oh my...My fiance lived in CO for 13 years and came back to PA for me. I am not going to let him know that this is a thing...because well, we can't afford to go to CO to get married.
