You have time!! I bought one dress... then had dress regret and then bought another dress at the 5 month mark online. I’m now just about 3 months away, and I’m just now going in for first fittings at a local alterations shop( I’ve trusted this lady for years I would not have gone to just anyone). If you don’t find something online and would rather pick something in store I’d say try and have something picked by the 8 month mark.
weight loss part do not worry about that. I had been unable to really walk and move around cause I had a messed up foot. So I was heavier than I have ever been when we got engaged. I immediately started trying to lose weight and have lost about 30-35ish pounds since last December. It’s been slowly coming off, so don’t worry about it. It will happen just don’t beat yourself up over it. Some days you will feel defeated, but you are beautiful. You will lose the weight you have enough time! You got this!
    good luck hope this helps!

You have some time! I ordered mine a few weeks ago and they told me it would for sure be in by March but the designer I chose would be closer to Jan/Feb. You can always rush order too. I would definitely go though. Get a good pair of spanx and try some on. It will take 4-6 months for it to come in and can always be altered if you lose weightSmiley smile
