If you have followed any of my story the last few months you would know that we are having an intimate ceremony this Saturday the 28th and then a 2nd reception in my hometown in January. Well the reception venue (neighborhood clubhouse) cancelled. Due to new COVID requirements, they are not allowing gatherings in their space. And we had just purchased the invites after waiting for months JUST IN CASE. Oh well lol.
My question is, have any of you done a drive by reception? My parents live right around the corner so it wouldn't be out of the way, and there would be plenty of room for cars to drive by. I can't seem to find many ideas online. Would it be too cold? It'll be in Idaho so it may even snow lol.
Just trying to figure out if we should do a change of plans insert in the invitations or cancel/postpone altogether. I already have requested work off and flights are bought. Any advice?
