Ours was attraction at first sight. We met on vacation; on a cruise. Our families had been friends for a long time but somehow the two of us had never met. We met the first day of the cruise and were inseparable for the next six days, like a six-day first date! At the time FH lived in Minnesota and I lived in Oregon so once the vacation ended we figured that we just wouldn't see each other again, but I told him that if he ever comes to Oregon for a visit to call me. The last day of the cruise, I was trying to convince myself that it was okay that nothing would ever come from it and that our week together was perfect in itself. Luckily for me, he wasn’t okay with leaving it as is and called me on his way to the airport. For the next three months he and I talked every day, and this was when I started to fall in love with him. Still, I figured nothing serious would ever happen since he was so far away. Then one day FH calls and says that he can't stop thinking about me and is coming to Oregon. I was ecstatic and asked how long he was visiting for and he told me that he wasn't visiting but was moving back to Oregon. I picked him up at the airport when he came in and we have been together ever since.
