I am a very late in life college student that is on Student Government in her college, who is trying to re-enter the workforce after retraining from a workplace injury that left a stimulator in her brain and pain pump in her spine, because I want more ! I am not done, and I found someone that I want to live my dreams with and travel the world. You cannot do that on social security, so I am retaining so that I can hopefully return. I am willing to work for my dreams, if I can … and I have learned the only one to hold me back is me. Everyone thought I would not make it this far, but they were measuring me from the wrong stick … it was theirs and not mine ! Do not ever let anyone tell you your limits (or set them for you), that is for you to decide, not them. Someone else's limitations that hold them back, you do not have to accept for you … push past, go forward, go far and succeed !!

Happily married 🎉

Yes ! That is a wonderful way to go back and just collect your thoughts after everything has died down, and life has started and really kicked in. It is a good way, to shift and bring the camera back to refocus on what special memories and events, and remberances you have lost sight of, by loosing touch with each other by just living life and getting caught up in the day-to-day. Sometimes the little things that brought us together get lost in the hustle of the hubbub of the busy schedule of things and we say we are going to take time ... but we don't get to, we have to make time. It is the senses that bring us back to rememberance, the tastes of that specials day when we were so very happy, the smells of the rose pedals and flowers and food all around us, the touch of your partners hand in yours as you are taking this special time that is yours to celebrate. The music that was playing when you were dancing and celebrating with loved ones. The look in each others eyes when you guys were the only ones for each other. Yes ! The cake tradition, is the perfect way to bring it all back into perspective the importance, the closeness, and the love that you share ... which is like a muscle must be practiced so it can grow and stretch and become stronger. Sometimes you just need to go back to the begining, to be reminded, of what you have.

Relying on my suggestions from our attendants, very stressful going to school full time w/ Student Government Activities, and my Fiance' working full time .. when we do see each other we are planning and designing the decorations for the wedding. The budget is very tight because I am in school full-time, and it is just after Christmas, but that was the most time I was off from school, and the best time to get out-of-area family and friends together also. We are both in the construction field so we are saving by creating and making our own things when we can, rather than buying and paying full price. I have a wonderfully large group of ladies and family that when they do come in, hopefully we can make short work of it all. My FIance' has a great group of guys, that will be there to help !
