We are doing a lot of DIY! My mom is making all the bridesmaids and flower girl dress and my dress! My dad made the cake stand out of wood and my mom is covering it in fabric. We are making our own fresh flower arrangements and bouquets. We are also making all our center pieces. We made all the wedding favors as well.

I think plated is a great thing for guests and allows them to relax and visit at the table and not have to wait in a buffet line. That being said there is a big price difference and our budget allows us to do buffet. I think as long as the food is good, and I hope it is, buffet is ok.
