December (& winter) Brides- Please Share Your Flowers!

Hollyanne, on September 27, 2019 at 1:07 PM Posted in Style and Décor 2 42
Hi fellow December (and winter) brides! I’m struggling to figure out what I want my flowers to look like.. my thought has been white with a pop of maroon and tons of greenery. We live in Colorado, not sure how much that will limit us.. I’d love to see some examples! 🥰 thanks in advance!!

I don't have pictures yet because we are still in early planning, but we have a "winter wonderland" color theme. Shades of blues, silver, white.

I'm doing white and navy blue. I found this "Beautiful in Blue" at a local place but they said they are all in season specifically for winter. Not sure about maroons or reds but theres plenty of the white in here. I'm in Texas but usually places can have flowers shipped fairly easily.

I'm having a January wedding. Since the idea of paying so much for flowers pains me, I love these bouquets I've seen on etsy made of sola wood flowers. This way I can keep my bouquet!

Theses are the flowers collection we’re ordering. We’re a very simple couple and wanted simple flowers.

This will be my bouquet for my Feb 1 wedding. Honestly I’m not fully sure what the names of some of the flowers are haha. The girls will have smaller versions with all white roses.

Our colors are gray & dusty blue, with a pop of maroon/wine. I needed to add that in because even if I do fake flowers, I want them to look real and I don’t want blue flowers lol are yours real? I’m going to be making my bouquet.

Hollyanne, yes, my bouquet will be real. I love your colors!! I'm having it preserved afterwards in a decorative tabletop container. If you'd like real flowers I'd look at 50 Flowers. They are a wedding wire vendor. Their floral designer is amazing. She can help you get just what you need. I also checked out Bloominous. They have premade packages and they can sub to help you get the look you want, too. For both of these companies you'd get the loose flowers and instructions. Both companies have great reviews. Some greenery has that grey hue and their are a few flowers that have a somewhat dusty blue hue, but not sure if in season.

I understand wanting a real looking bouquet if using artificial. 😊 Whatever you decide I know it'll be beautiful!!
