I’m more traditional than modern but I am keeping it simple and elegant.
Are you a tried-and-true traditionalist, or are you taking a more modern approach to wedding planning? Come tell us if you went modern or traditional in these community discussions: https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/modern-or-traditional-round-two/126ef0132f7d8f78.html
I would deface someone do my hair and makeup. He would have to wait until I walk down the aisle and add 20 people to the guest. Maybe have the maid of honor officiant but I am all down for a pastor. Then I would have a long and humble honeymoon. Ok
I would have more money (maybe), I would not change my date or venue, I would to have a videographer and I would definitely have so
It's time to play "would you rather" - the wedding planning version! Come tell us which planning choice you'd make in each of these situations:https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/would-you-rather-round-three/f06d3d197b3d6bfa.html
I think save the date is necessary because guests gets busy with their daily activities and ceremony programs are an option for guests to follow if they want to know what is going on or guests may not understand certain aspects of the wedding. It depends on the bride.
Save the dates, ceremony programs, champagne toasts... are they really necessary? Come join the discussion and weigh in on what you think is actually necessary or not for your wedding: https://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/necessary-or-not/4760e2c61eaa8034.html
Try to book your venue first because it will be your biggest expense. Ask for there rates because your rates will determine what day that you will have your wedding. Through the week is cheaper and Sundays are cheaper. Saturday’s are the most expensive. Sometimes a venue has Sunday special for your wedding.
I started looking about a month later for my venue, my dress, bridesmaid dresses and flowers. I already booked my venue and I am just looking for ideas or what I would like to have for my wedding.
