Miha is the best person to work with, she made our wedding painless and a night to remember.

We absolutely loved the Sanderling. While we booked almost 2 years in advance, we did have a few coordinator changes throughout the time, Kathy took care of us the 2 weeks leading up to and the day of the wedding, and was absolutely phenomenal! We did a tasting of the food on a visit there a year prior to our wedding, and the food tasted just as we remembered on the day of the wedding. The service staff was wonderful and really took care of everyone. The drinks were great too!

Absolutely amazing staff. Kourtney was so responsive and on top of things for our wedding and reception. Everything was perfect and they were in our budget. Couldn’t ask for a better place to have our wedding ceremony and reception.

As the mother of the bride, it is my hope and dream to give my daughter the wedding of her dreams and The Inner Banks Inn exceeded my and my daughter and son-in-laws expectations. Even when we found out that we had to move the original wedding date because my son-in-law got deployed, the venue was great and understood the situation and moved the date with no problems. The venue was beautiful and Susan, Casey, Shannon and all the staff went above and beyond to make the whole wedding experience totally stress free. The food was absolutely phenomenal and every guest raved about it. The chef is fabulous and made a beautiful cake and cupcakes and since we had Beauty and the Beast theme, we asked if they could make "The Grey Stuff" and once I found a recipe and sent pictures, she was able to make it" for us! It was delicious! Susan was very attentive asking if we needed anything and how everything was during the reception. Every request we made during the wedding weekend, Casey, Shannon or any staff went above and beyond to accommodate. Shannon even called to tell me they found a garment bag in my daughter's room after we had checked out, and they sent it back to me. I can't say enough great things about this venue. By the end of the weekend, everyone felt like family and was so comfortable and nice to talk with. If you are considering this venue for your wedding, I highly recommend it. There was no detail left out and I didn't even have to think about or worry about anything for the ceremony or reception. Susan and her staff took care of everything. It was the wedding of my daughter's dreams and we couldn't be more pleased! It was perfect!

The Chesapeake Venue has it all for your OBX Wedding! The luxury, seclusion, intimacy, 24 bedrooms with all view to die for and, of course the wild horses:) The design of this property is so well laid out that our team can easily customize our couples wedding vision to fit their needs. Also great plan b's which you don't want, but need to have ready just in case. And you can accommodate 50 of your guests right there at your venue! Look no further. you have found your wedding venue on the OBX!

Do yourself a HUGE favor and book this location for your wedding!! Bill and Veda are some of the kindest people I have ever met, and they took care of our every need! They made us feel like old friends, and they were so kind and professional. I really can’t speak highly enough of them! The lodgings were perfect- clean, cozy, rustic charm that felt like something out of a movie. If you love the simplicity of the outer banks, then this is the location for you! We will be back year after year!

I can't speak highly enough of the gorgeous deck overlooking the beach!! All the beauty of a beach wedding without the sand to deal with! From the sales team to the front desk personnel to the housekeeping personnel everyone did their best to meet our every need. The food was so good that our guests are still talking about it even two months later. If there was any less than stellar things it would be that the ceiling and lighting in the reception space were less than ideal. However, with some creative decorating by an outside vendor we were able to enhance the space.

The wedding was so beautiful as we got married right on the beach facing the ocean. Staff was so helpful and nice. They set everything up for us and made sure it was what we wanted.

From the stunning venue to the perfect execution, they handled every detail with such experience—even when we had to make a last-minute change due to the weather, February.... Westside Inn is absolutely stunning, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting, especially during sunset. It truly took our breath away and made the perfect backdrop for our special day. Every photo we received from our photographer, Matt Lusk, or from friends and family turned out gorgeous. Working with Susan made the entire experience even better. She was incredibly responsive, kind, and so helpful every step of the way. Anytime I had a question (big or small), she was quick to answer and always made me feel supported throughout the planning process. The venue came with tables and chairs included, which was such a huge help, and we also rented the bathroom trailer through them. Everything came together so perfectly, and we’re so grateful to Susan for helping make our wedding day so memorable. Highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a gorgeous space!!
