When we booked Spinnaker, Ed told me over the phone that our proofs would be included in our package because it was the deal for a Friday wedding. Our contract never had a final quote, which we found misleading as it clearly stated the first two payments and the due dates but the final payment said “with proofs,” so when I signed the contract I thought that (as we agreed upon over the phone) the proofs where included with our final payment. I explained to Ed that we found the contract misleading. In the end, it felt like an extra charge we didn’t know was coming (we certainly didn’t know what the dollar amount was). It was very disheartening to have to pay the extra money we weren’t prepared for in order to get our proofs. We didn’t see the photos until after we paid our final balance, and we were even further disappointed to find that we weren’t completely satisfied with the photos. I wouldn’t recommend this photographer to a friend who was getting married. This photographer was extremely difficult to deal with.

Thank you for allowing us to spend the day with you. We would never try to mislead a couple on pricing as our contract is very specific on costs. In 22 years of shooting great photos of couples in Milwaukee, we never had an issue with our paperwork. We offer a great value at $1,695 plus a small charge for proofs with no time or location limits and a two person team. We had many positive responses from your guests as to the quality of the pictures, even though we had a very short time frame to develop your story. I have tried to resolve this on several occasions and would never offer something on the phone that was not in writing, as this would not be in anyone's interest.
