Hiring Sarah Street Photography was a no-brainer. I had seen her work from one of my bridesmaids' weddings, and I instantly fell in love with her light and airy style. Sarah is dependable, down-to-earth, and devoted to her work. She captured two engagement sessions and our micro-wedding this year, and we are thrilled to work with her again for our larger celebration next year. My husband and I, as well as our friends and family, are truly captivated by our photos. Her talent is unparalleled. Thank you, Sarah, for capturing such beautiful memories for us to cherish for years to come! -

Hiring Sarah Street to photograph our wedding day was one of the best (and first!) wedding decisions we made. After doing some research on photographers in the area, it was easy to see why her work stood out among the competition. Quickly upon booking Sarah for our October wedding, she set up a phone meeting with me and we talked for about an hour just getting to know one another and understanding what my groom and I were looking for in a wedding photographer. Sarah was incredibly personable and professional through all of our exchanges and time together. Included in our booking was an engagement shoot where she traveled across the state to our Alma Mater to capture our photos. She worked quickly to return our photos in a timely manner so we could send out save the dates. Sarah was always responsive to my questions or concerns, no matter how big or small. She would frequently send us things in the mail, whether it be a catalog showcasing her photos and a very detailed wedding timeline or small notes with a few engagement prints and kind words about how excited she was to work with us. Sarah was always easy to communicate with before, during, and after our wedding and she went above and beyond when it came to photographing our wedding day. She was efficient and made sure to capture all of the photos that I requested on the day-of. She was even an excellent resource for other things during the wedding planning process and always gave me great input whenever I asked. After the wedding, we had our completed wedding photo gallery within a few weeks. Shortly thereafter, we received a large box filled with prints and small gifts that my husband and I really enjoyed opening and being able to recapture our wedding day - it was like Christmas morning! We were also able to choose the photos for the wedding album that was included in our package and it turned out beautifully! It is a stunning keepsake. I would recommend Sarah Street Photography 100x over. Not only is Sarah soft-spoken and kind but she is a true professional and is incredibly talented at what she does. Sarah Street Photography is the best!
Sarah was an amazing choice for our wedding photographer! Not only is she professional and prompt in every communication with us, she's talented, fun, personable and great at instructing on how to pose. Not only was her photography beautiful, she was great to work with and paid attention to little details that made us feel like valued clients. Having the opportunity to work with Sarah in advance of the wedding through engagement photos was key, allowing us to get to know each other and learn what to expect on our wedding day. She exceeded our expectations with how generous she was in giving me her time and opinions and working with us and other vendors to create the perfect timeline. Her turnaround time, photo editing, and quality of photos, and final package of photos met and exceeded our expectations. Hiring someone to capture the special moments of your wedding day is an important decision, and you can trust Sarah to give you quality images that you'll want to plaster all over your walls and force your children to look at for decades to come.Sarah Street Photography's reply:

Amazing!
Sarah was nothing short of absolute perfection! She truly is the BEST wedding photographer out there. Sarah is so organized, calm, and TALENTED! We can't begin to describe how amazing it was to work with Sarah! She was so professional, organized, and timely. She ensured our schedule for the day made sense, followed up with us throughout the process, and made us feel completely at ease on our wedding day. It was so wonderful to know she understood us and our style and we fully trusted all of her direction day of. The pictures turned out so beautifully and truly captured our personalities and so many wonderful moments from the day. Highly Recommend Sarah Street Photography
We highly recommend Sarah! Sarah was my first choice wedding photographer from the start because of her classic, soft, romantic look--all of which was reflected in our wedding day photos!
Sarah will go the distance with her clients. She took the time to speak with me in advance about our day of timeline. I found out that this is typically done about a month out, but speaking with Sarah about the timeline earlier helped me put the final pieces in to place. She also had great insight along the way that helped me organize the final details. Sarah is well versed with the Williamsburg Inn and knew all the great spots to capture good light (and avoid the wet grass)!
I remember the calm and comfort that Sarah brought to our special day. The first thing Sarah said to me right before she took her first photo of me in my dress was how beautiful I looked in my dress. She was sincere in her words and I immediately felt at ease after a long morning of getting ready. She continued to rockstar through the rest of the day, working with the videographer, wedding party, and family well. I asked her to take a huge photo of well over 40 family members and she made sure to get every face shown. Her attention to detail is spot on.
To this day I show people our pictures and they say we should be a cover photo for colonial Williamsburg (not that we need to be, but the high compliment is further support on Sarah and her skills!). I recommend her whole heartily and her pictures reflect the winter wedding fairy tale feelings we had throughout the day.

Don't think twice-book Sarah!
We absolutely loved working with Sarah. She is communicative and helpful throughout the entire process and provides a ton of resources for planning. She works hard to make sure everything about your day is exactly how you envisioned. She is also really friendly- we felt super comfortable with her right away. Lindsey Sent on 10/02/2018Words can not explain how truly amazing Sarah is but I’m going to give it a go anyways. From the moment I contacted her to inquire about her availability and pricing to receiving what are the best images my husband and I will ever have, she was nothing but professional, kind, and a pure joy to work with! She is a genius, she found the most romantic spots with the perfect lighting to create pictures that looked like they came straight out of a magazine. Neither my husband nor I knew what to do in front of a camera but she coached us the entire way and everything just felt so natural. She had our pictures ready in no time and we are so in love with how they turned out. She even sent us the sweetest gift! Sarah was worth every penny we spent, which was very reasonable by the way, and we would recommend her to anybody and everybody!!

Sarah Was incredible throughout our entire experience. She was extremely attentive to every detail from pre planning the timeline right down to capturing the finest details of our day. Sarah was flexible and open minded to both Jacob and I’s visions in order to make both visions happen. Sarah has a very impressive way of directing the day, while remaining very calm and sensaible. When we felt stuck or award while shooting she gave us tips that made us feel comfortable and confident. Sarah’s style is absolutely stunning- fine art photography meets digital. Her work is worth every penny!! -
