    Pierre photgraphed our wedding on 3/25/12. My husband's family has used him in the past and knew the quality of his work before hiring him. He did not disappoint. He is very friendly and easy to work with. He is very creative when it comes to backgrounds and posing. He was constantly taking pictures for the whole 5 hours he was with us.

    I can't wait to see our pictures, becuase I know they will be great!!

    We loved working with Pierre. We are big fans of the "out of the ordinary" approach to photography that he and his assistants apply in their art. Our photos are still deep in the editing process, but we are very hopeful and excited to see the moments that were captured. Our wedding day was so special to us and we have no doubt that the pictures will reflect all the love we were sharing with each other, with our family and with our friends. Pierre and his staff have been very accommodating and moved like the wind taking pictures from every angle. Would recommend Pierre's Portrait Art to anyone looking to capture the meaning in life's most special moments.

    Very expensive but SO worth it! A vendor can make your day or not and Pierre made mine. I treasure my photo's and every day I am so glad That I picked this company. Everyone loves my pictures. Check them out seriously its worth every penny. We saved by not video taping the wedding and doing only pictures.

    Pierre is a bit pricey, but he is worth every single penny. I had so many compliments from people saying that I had the best wedding photos that they have ever seen. The pictures were absolutely beautiful and everything that we had hoped for. He isn't afraid to do anything to get that perfect shot- he went into the water in Lake Mendota!     A good photographer was our number one priority when planning out wedding. Pierre is a little pricey as far as photographers go, but SOOO worth it. Our pictures turned out beautifully. Pierre was so great and easy to work with and he really has a unique eye if you're looking for a more photojournalistic approach. We also paid a little extra for a slide show of pictures of us along with pictures that Pierre had just taken of the wedding day and location shots. Everyone at the reception was blown away by the slideshow and were thrilled to be able to see some of our wedding pictures that soon. Totally worth it, he's the best photographer in Madison!

    I can't say enough about Pierre's Portrait Art!!! They did a fabulous job on our engagement and wedding pictures! We still get compliments on them from everybody who sees them. They were worth every penny!

    A few years ago I was in a girlfriend's wedding in Madison and she had one of the photographers from Pierre's as her photographer. I remember as a bridesmaid just thinking how amazing her pictures were going to turn out because it seemed like the photographers were so creative. The minute my husband and I decided to get married in Madison, we called Pierre's right away. We live in Chicago and they asked us if we wanted to come up for a consultation but I told them that having been in a wedding that was photographed by someone from Pierre's was enough for me! The pictures Anna C. and Lukas took were amazing, and truly captured what I wanted the day to be about. They were flexible and knew that we wanted time after the wedding to hang out with friends on the Terrace and they balanced taking pictures with us just relaxing. You cannot go wrong with anyone from Pierre's!

    Great company, incredible pictures, great value even though they're definetly not the cheapest out there. Seem to be going through some personell changes, I hope they can maintain their reputation, quality, originality, etc... throughout those changes!

    Pierre's Portrait Art studio had a rough start with late and misplaced contracts and unreturned messages so at first, we were starting to get nervous. But, they hired a new office manager and the overall responsiveness and service improved exponentially.

    As far as their work, wrangling everyone, the photos and scenes they set up, and the editing work--I can say that they are an excellent investment that my husband and I are extremely excited about. We had Anna as our photographer and she was amazing! We couldn't be happier with how our day was documented and artistically represented. If we had to do it all over again, we would go with Pierre's once more!

    Pierre is a very good photographer, but we found his professionalism and responsiveness extremely lacking.  He didn’t respond to confirm our booking until 12 hours before our wedding despite multiple emails and phone calls.  It also took him 15 weeks to finish editing our photos, when he told us it would take 4.  He didn’t return our phone calls or emails during that time, and we got to a point where we thought he lost our photos and we would have to threaten legal action to get his attention.
