Amazing photographer
John and his staff super-ceded all of our expectations when it came to our wedding photographs. John is very responsive in terms of communication before, during, and after the wedding. My wife and I met with him prior to our wedding and reviewed all of the photographs we wanted and the timeline we had for the wedding. He was open to all of our suggestions, but had some of his own that we really liked. He had researched the venue before we met as this was his first time photographing it. The day of, it was him and two other gentleman helping him. He kept things on the timeline we had discussed and was incredibly nice and patient with not only us but also our family and friends who were not always in the correct spot or ready for a photograph. The time went quick for all of out pictures, but he was able to get a variety of shots, including very romantic sunset shots. After the wedding, he was able to give us our photographs way faster than we were expecting. My wife and I absolutely fell in love with all of the pictures. The lighting, the angles, and the poses were all so perfect. We could not be happier with the photographs. John is such a genuine person, he makes you feel really comfortable while he is photographing you. None of the poses felt awkward or that we were trying too hard. He has a talent for capturing candid pictures that turn out absolutely perfect.John Malloy Photography's reply:

John was an absolute joy to work with. He asked lots of good questions before the wedding that helped us figure out exactly what we wanted for the whole day. John's kindness, professionalism, and ability to calmly role with even the most unexpected situations put us at ease. We got married on a slightly rainy January day, and he worked his photography magic and our portraits turned out beautifully! He can turn even the most ordinary backdrop (fence, road, hill) into a gorgeous background for bride and groom portraits (I don't know how he does it). He has photographed not only my wedding but many of my friends' weddings and we all can't recommend John Malloy Photography more highly!John Malloy Photography's reply:

Do not look any further for the perfect wedding photographer for you. From the moment we met John Malloy we knew that he was going to be the perfect person to document our wedding. He was professional, timely, and got all the amazing pictures I could have asked for from my wedding. His employees/ coworkers were also super friendly and professional. They blended into the crowd and still got all the perfect shots. Every time my husband and I look at our wedding photos we are so glad that we picked John Malloy to document our wedding. Pictures are the only thing you have left from the big day, so make sure you are hiring the right person for the job! -

John is an incredibly talented, passionate photographer who has captured my wedding day with photos I will cherish forever. I highly recommend John for your engagement and wedding photography! He and his team are highly organized and professional, leading up to the wedding I had several conversations with John about specific items and shots I wanted captured so that on our wedding day I knew we were on the same page and I could enjoy my day. He was adept at blending into the background to capture intimate moments and also at directing big groups of people to make our large and numerous family photos a breeze. He works well under pressure and is highly adaptable, he was able to find the perfect light and scenery in my location at every point in the day and pivoted quickly to make any request that came his way from a mother or maid of honor. John has a true gift for creating beautiful imagery, he has a love for people that shines through his work and has a hard work ethic demonstrated by the volume and speed at which I received my photos. John and his crew were absolutely amazing to work with! I couldn’t be happier with pictures we received from our wedding day. He was more than willing to fulfill any and all request that we had. He even agreed to use smoke bombs as a background even though he had never done it before. (The pictures of those were amazing!) He has a way with sunsets that makes the pictures look magical. Some of those pictures are my all time favorite! John is such a sweet person and he definitely added a special touch to our perfect day!John Malloy Photography's reply:

John took our engagement and wedding photos, and we could not be more pleased! He has such a calming and encouraging demeanor, which helped the photos flow naturally. John also gave great direction, and made sure to ask for any particular requests to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. My wife and I got married on a very Beautiful day in May. Thanks to John Malloy and his team, it was a day full of so many blessings that we will cherish forever. I honestly can't begin to say how amazing John Malloy was at our wedding. He is so kind, sweet, professional and very thoughtful. We heard about John Malloy through the Stoltzfus Homestead and Gardens, where we had our wedding. We hired him to be our photographer for our wedding, but he also did our engagement photos.
Our engagement photoshoot and the pictures that were taken were both so wonderful. He was so professional at what he did, he has a great eye for some amazing and beautiful shots. Not only was he an amazing photographer, but he was so friendly. He made the photoshoot so much fun, stress free, and such a wonderful experience . And the pictures came out so amazing. We loved them, and used them for our save the dates..... And then the Wedding was so beautiful and amazing. From the time of arrival till the last send off... Everything that John Malloy did at our wedding was amazing and wonderful. He was so organized and well planned. One of the biggest things my wife and I loved is that we didn't have to worry about a thing. We knew that the pictures would come out amazing, from what we got from our engagement photos. And due to he was so organized. He would talk to us and walk us through the whole wedding so we knew exactly what to expect. it was such wonderful relief knowing that he had our backs and that the only thing my wife and I had to do was just enjoy our wedding knowing he would capture every moment. From the time we arrived to the photoshoot before the wedding, to the wedding, to the reception to the time we lepton our sparkler send off, he was so amazing.
Not only was John and his team so professional and caring and organized, and amazing. But he was also so talented. The pictures all came out so amazing, and breathtakingly beautiful. He captured every wonderful and blessed moment, that my wife and i can always look back and cherish forever. They were more beautiful, and creative, amazingly detailed. Not only were the pictures beautiful, but we were so blessed to have received them in a timely matter. We had all our photos delivered to us within a little over two weeks after our wedding. He was so thoughtful knowing that every couple looks forward to seeing there photos, and he does his best to make them beautiful. We were so blessed when we saw them for the first time, my wife and I made that time looking at a them a special moment. One thing that John Malloy did for us that melted our hearts and made us both get teary eyed, was at the end of our wedding he gave us a few photos from our wedding that were his favorites on the day. We were able to take them with us on our honey moon. We were able to share with others and show off our beautiful wedding, it made us so teary eyed and and a answer to prayer and a dream come true to have such a beautiful wedding.
John Malloy made our wedding the most beautiful and most blessed wedding. it was such an answer to prayer and dream come true. And my wife Lish and I are sooo blessed to have had him not only capture our beautiful wedding, but he has been so much apart of our beautiful loved story that we had shared with him when we first met. I would reccomend John Malloy to anyone. I will tell all my family and friends about him. And Lish and I look forward to having him continue to capture our love story in the future. Simply Amazing!
John was an absolute pleasure to work with. As soon as we met him for the consultation we knew he was the one we wanted to use! Our photos and album turned out absolutely beautiful! He made sure to capture all the moments I wanted and made everything flow quickly so we could enjoy our day with family and friends! If we could go back we would absolutely make the same choice. We hired John for our Stoltzfus Homestead wedding in June 2018. To this day we remark on how professional and patient he was. He was honestly our favorite vendor and person to work with on our wedding day. We were so grateful we chose to work with John - he brings a sense of calmness and professionalism that is certainly needed on one of the more stressful days of your life. Outstanding photographs
Choosing John Malloy Photography was by far our best choice in vendors for our wedding. During our wedding planning, I knew that I wanted to find an excellent photographer and spent hours researching and browsing photography websites. I was drawn to John's photos for his amazing use of natural light and how all his couples looked completely at ease and natural. When we took our engagement photos with John, I knew we had made the right choice. My soon to be husband and I laughed the entire time and had an incredible evening strolling through a park and our downtown while John captured the moments. On our wedding day, John and his very nice assistants were everywhere at once, capturing shots from all angles without being the least bit intrusive. I think John could have doubled as a wedding planner that day because he also helped things run smoothly and on time, as he went back and forth capturing us getting ready. My favorite part came at the reception, shortly after dinner. John actually projected on a large screen a selection of pictures that he had taken up to that point. My husband and I loved it, as did our guests. In fact that was a comment that was brought up again and again as we talked to people after our wedding. It was truly unique, as is John and his ability to capture such beautiful and intimate moments, and turn them into photos that can be treasured for a lifetime! -

Eric and I booked John Malloy Photography for our engagement photos and wedding photos, and this was our absolute favorite vendor. I would book John again for any professional photos I needed in a heartbeat. When we saw the level of detail and emotion during our consultation, we knew we had to book John and would not even need a videographer because of the art that was captured in each photo.
Eric and I had never had professional photos taken together before our engagement photos. Due to John’s calm, happy, and professional manner any worry we had was erased right away. He was also incredibly flexible when we had to reschedule due to weather. John posed us in some photos but also captured the candid moments of enjoying a beautiful day of during our engagement.
For our wedding day, John went above and beyond. He was in constant communication with us to make sure we had a list ready of shots we wanted, ensuring we would have enough time, and finalizing the look, feel, and timeline for the day. He got the key shots we wanted, helped to facilitate our first look without a hitch, and captured the emotion throughout the entire day.
In addition to the emotion that John captured, the attention to detail within each photo is incredible and far above to anything else I have seen!
Not only was John able to capture our day so flawlessly that everyone asks who shot such amazing photos, but that he was able to take command in a loving, fun, and professional way that made sure the photos were taken quickly and perfectly.
Not long after the wedding, we were on our honeymoon, we had a sneak peak of photos from John - we were blown away. The photos are gorgeous, we felt like we were reliving the moment right then and there and we could not wait to see the rest - which were up quickly!
Getting our wedding album was so much fun as well! We loved designing the album, being given the opportunity to add more items, such as parent books, was great. There was a little hiccup where the incorrect album was shipped to us (the shipper mixed up the labels), but John fixed it literally in no time.
Each time we look at one of our wedding photos we are instantly taken back to that very moment and can’t help but smile.
Do yourself a favor and book John Malloy Photography!!

Absolutely amazing photographer!
John is the ideal photographer, not to mention on of the nicest guys we ever met. His photos were timeless, and he knew exactly what to do to make our photos beautiful and perfect! He was so easy to work with and we got a lot of compliments for our guests about him. Looking back being married for almost 3 years, our photos are all we have and it brings back the most beautiful memories of that amazing day. Johns photos are exactly what any bride could want. John Malloy Photography is simply the most talented wedding photographer in the Lancaster, Pa/ Baltimore area. Our experience with John and his amazing team was fabulous from the start. They are the ultimate professionals, yet are able to connect with their couples and their families on such a personable level that our whole wedding experience from engagement photos to the end of the wedding day was a dream come true. We already knew his work was stunning, but we had no idea that our daughter's wedding would be so enhanced and less stressful by hiring him. John keeps things relaxed and fun, and adds in so many amazing extras. As the mother of the bride, it was such a tremendous blessing to not have to worry or plan out what photos we wanted taken. John is an absolutely amazing photographer! I cannot say enough good things about him and his crew! Our wedding was back in 2017 and we love looking through our wedding album and proudly display two large canvases of pictures he took. He made my fairytale wedding live on forever through his photographs that are beyond magical. His photos are simply breath-taking. John has also done an amazing job with his social media in having old wedding photos pop up. I follow him on instagram and Facebook and its always nice to see my wedding pictures randomly appear in my feed thanks to him. It’s just another lovely way of reliving the day.
John was very professional and caring the day of our wedding. He had this general sense of calm during all the commotion and was thoughtful. I’m amazed at some of the shots he got, he was not intrusive during the day and blended in with our guests. His communication was great and he really helped make the day special. He was very flexible with meetings and understanding during our wedding planning time. We had ordered a package that included a side show for during the wedding. My husband and I decided we didn’t need the slide show and then John surprised us with a mini album of some gorgeous shots before the end of the night instead! We HIGHLY recommend John and his crew!
