Delicious comfort food and excellent service!
Gwen with G&W Catering truly provided an experience, not just a simple dinner. When doing our tasting, she literally fed us an entire lunch, and we walked out full and excited for our wedding reception dinner. G&W's connections with Chubby Cakes and Bakes Bakery made paying for and delivery of the Wedding Cake smooth and stress free. We also decided to forgo the groom's cake in exchange for a candy bar, which looked absolutely gorgeous! The catering staff during the reception also took exceptional care of our guests. Thank you for making our wedding dinner delicious!Gwen with G&W Catering truly provided an experience, not just a simple dinner. Delicious & Filling
The food at G & W Catering was fantastic! There were so many menu choices that we knew each of our guests—from small children through grandparents—would be more than satisfied with the selections we made. Very Tasty and Affordable
Gwen and her team are wonderful. The food is VERY tasty! We are having fried chicken, brisket, mac and cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes and rolls. Makes your wedding food dreams come true!
G&W Catering did amazing food for my wedding reception last month at White Crest Farm! Everyone kept telling me how great the food was, and the staff was very flexible with things! Gwen was quick to answer all my questions, and my mouth is STILL watering over our cake! 😍 best variety of options, ALL delicious, best price tag, especially for larger crowds, and best flexibility. Hands down the BEST caterer in Georgia!
We did buffet style, people LOVED the mash potato bar (no extra cost for that people!!) and it was all a dream! We had around 220 people there. You won’t regret choosing G&W Catering for all your events!G&W Catering did amazing food for my wedding reception last month at White Crest Farm! Gwen and her team were amazing, we worked with them through Che'ne Rouge for our wedding. The cost of the catering was included in the package and we paid for the cake. First off, the tasting was incredible. I knew right off the bat I would love her food. On the day of the wedding everyone was raving about how delicious the food was. We had rotisserie chicken, greens, a potato bar, salad, rolls, lemonade, sweet tea, and water for the main course and a gorgeous fruit display for the appetizer. The food was amazing and the display was perfect. They even made sure me and my Husband were served so we didn't miss out. Oh and the cake was perfect and exactly how we pictured it. OMG words cannot describe how amazing and delicious my wedding cake was and all the food served at the reception. Gwen is an amazing woman and caterer. Such a warm and sweet personality and very easy to work with. Not only was my cake gorgeous but it also tasted so good! I normally wouldn't expect a wedding cake that looks good to tastes good So this was beyond my expectations. I think I ate an entire layer and their were four layers. All the guest kept raving about how good the food tasted and posting it on social media. The buffet which had two meats, a vegetable, mash potato bar (served in martini glasses) and a salad with rolls was decorated beautifully. Her staff handled the 150 guests with professionalism and ease. No one walked away hungry and many came back for seconds. The food was outstanding and we received many compliments on it and the way it was displayed.
Gwen's wedding cake and dessert bar were one of the best we have ever experienced. The cake was beautifully decorated and so very delicious with both strawberry and vanilla layers.
I can't thank Gwen and G & W Catering for making our daughter's wedding such an enjoyable and memorable event. I would definitely recommend them for any upcoming events you may have and plan on using them again for future events.

I loved G&W Catering! The centerpieces and linens provided for the reception were beautiful. Also, the staff was very friendly and professional. The food was okay. It of course tasted way better when we to try it. The potato’s were wrong for the wedding. I wanted the loaded potato casserole and we were served the sweet potato casserole. Hi there, thanks for taking the time to review our services. I am glad to hear that you and your guest enjoyed the food that is our number one goal. Unfortunately, a couple of years ago we had to implement a small food tasting fee due to the rising cost of food. We do approximately a 100 food tastings a year and this is a standard practice now with most caterers. However I am surprised that you were not happy with your wedding cake. If I knew who I was responding to I could go back and take a look at the cake and address this with our designer. The reason I state that I am surprised is the designer has been doing cakes for 25 years and they are typically delicious and beautiful. We truly appreciate your business and your feedback! I was very disappointed with my experience with using G&W Catering.
When my groom and I went to go get our plates of food (first of all our guests) from our buffet table the food was already lukewarm, I can't even imagine how unpleasantly cold it was by the time the last of our guests had gotten their food and taken a seat.
I never saw either of the Hors d’oeuvres that I paid for, nor did many of my guests.
The "martini" mash potato bar was not served in martini glasses as I was told it would be which kind of defeated the entire point of having it.
Two or three of my guests told me about undercooked chicken a couple of days after the wedding. (Which I wish I could have addressed day of but I was unaware of the problem)
All of the food (including the cake) was packed up a whisked away before all of my guests even got a first plate let alone a second. (My groom didn't even get a piece of our wedding cake!)
Maybe this company was just having an off day on my wedding day because when I first met with them and conversed via email they seemed like a very professional and reliable business but that doesn't change the fact that a main part of my reception was unpleasant due to their mistakes.
EDIT: Lowering my rating because this company basically called myself and my guests liars below.I was very disappointed with my experience with using G&W Catering.
When my groom and I went to go get our plates of food (first of all our guests) from our buffet table the food was already lukewarm, I can't even imagine how unpleasantly cold it was by the time the last of our guests had gotten their food and taken a seat.
I never saw either of the Hors d’oeuvres that I paid for, nor did many of my guests.
The "martini" mash potato bar was not served in martini glasses as I was told it would be which kind of defeated the entire point of having it.
Two or three of my guests told me about undercooked chicken a couple of days after the wedding. (Which I wish I could have addressed day of but I was unaware of the problem)

Hi Alyse just wanted to respond to your review. I apologize that you were not pleased with our services. Unfortunately I am also confused because your mother,mother n law, and husband and many guest told us how great everything was. You had a very small crowd and everyone of your guest got a plate of food and many had seconds. As far as the potato bar your toppings were in the big martini glasses. The appetizers were served until they were gone, every guest that wanted them got them. We took plates of mushrooms to tables. The food is always cooked to temp and again your mother n law had a second helping of the chicken. We strive to make sure all of our clients are pleased. Thanks for your input and we will continue to work on our services. -
