Clive and his team worked for my sisters wedding on November. They did an outstanding job. They have wonderful deals and packages from photography, videoograpy and even photo booth. They even did her engagement photos! This is a wonder team for “one stop shop”. The team was very engaging and a few of the camera men even helped the Groom and Groomsmen with their boutonnieres and Cufflings to making sure everything was in place. Even helped my special needs brother with his bow tie.
In fact we loved them so much we are trying to lock them in for my fiancé and myself. -

Shannon Sent on 09/26/2016Clive was recommended by Val Vista Lakes Events. A venue in Gilbert, AZ. He also did pictures for their photo gallery. He is very professional, responsive and very swift when it comes to taking sunset photos. I am so thankful for everything he has done for us. Highly recommended if you don't want boring, basic photography. -

He not only knows how to get all the great photos, but he knows how to everyone at ease and made all of us comfortable in front of the camera. He is a true master! He captured all the moments-silly, fun, and romantic. I will treasure the pictures he took for a lifetime! Clive, Thank you for making all of our dreams come true! -
User1450363 Sent on 11/22/2013Both my wife and I are somewhat quiet / reserved people. Clive made us feel very comfortable in the photography sessions. He got the candid shots we were hoping for. He was able to get all the photos we wanted, with us, with our family, with our wedding party, in a very short amount of time. And best of all, the photos turned out great. Clive works very hard, is very professional (yet fun) and is very talented. Even though he's shot many weddings, he didn't make us feel like just another couple - he made us feel special. -

Our pictures were available in less than two full days and they were beautiful! He made everyone look their best and was sure to include as many people as possible. I have received so many compliments on his professionalism and adaptability. He was fun and energetic and was sure to check in with me to make sure everything was going well. User1115502 Sent on 03/21/2013IThe first time I found C van Rensburg online I was shocked because I requested additional information and I got a call from Candace about five minutes later! She was so sweet and so helpful I knew I would get a long with both of them. On the day of, it was a lot of fun working with Clive. He made me feel very comfortable and all the wedding party had a great time. IHe was very professional and got all the important shots. I got a lot of comments throughout the night about how fun he was and how they couldn't believe he remembered everyone's names. -

I would not recommend hiring this company.
Recently, my sister hired Clive as her wedding photographer. At noon the day of the wedding, Clive told her he would not be able to be her photographer as he was having some pain with his hip. Wedding days are stressful enough, and having your wedding photographer cancel noon the day of is excessively stressful.
BUT to make matters worse, he didn't actually cancel, so my sister could not get her money back to hire another photographer last minute (of which I found two who could be there to shoot the wedding). Instead, he sent an amateur photographer with a basic camera. I know this because I have this camera like this. It's from Costco.
My sister and I were enjoying mimosas as we dressed and prepared for the wedding. We only had five glasses, as that's the exact number of people we had in the suite. This replacement photographer chugged the champagne from the bottle! Highly inappropriate and messy, as champagne is very bubbly. I do not know how much alcohol he got from the grooms suite, but having to text all the groomsmen to be sure not to give him any alcohol is not a good sign.
As for the actual pictures, a large majority of Clive's replacement's photographs fell under the following three categories: blurry, pixelated and blinking.
- Blurry because I think he does not understand how to focus a camera. Would randomly focus on the metal gate behind people and not the people in the foreground.
- Pixelated because he had such a low quality camera and no lens fit for long distance photography (like the kind you would take when the Bride walks down the aisle). After a bad accident, my sister worked for 4 months to be able to walk down the aisle with our dad. A photo of her with Dad was really important to her for this reason and what we received is blurry!
- And blinking, because he would only take one photo at a time. Photographers taking pictures of multiple subjects should ALWAYS take multiple pictures, in burst mode, so if someone blinks they can edit the image in post-production. He did not do this - one photo for each group of people. Someone is blinking in every single picture. And for a lot of them, it is the bride or groom blinking.
The worst part about all of this is, when my sister received her photos and reached out to Clive to make this better, Clive took the stance that nothing was wrong with them. My sister asked for a refund. She wanted the refund so she could use the money to hire a new photographer to retake photos of her in her wedding dress and her husband in his tux. Basically, the photos they should have had from the wedding. My sister wanted just one photo she could blow up and put on their mantle.
