Joanna was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end! She works with your budget and shows up prepared. She did an amazing job with our engagement/family photos and and was just as great the day of our wedding if not more. She came with a list and left nothing out. If you’re looking for someone sweet, amazing, organized and stress free Joanna is the one! She also produced our photos SO quickly!! Highly recommend.

We loved working with Joanna as our wedding photographer. She has such a great eye for the natural light and knew how to pose us well based on the light. We can’t thank her enough for all of her hard work throughout our wedding day and capturing all of our special moments on camera.

I needed graduation pictures and Jojo was able to give me more than I have anticipated for!!! Her work is absolutely amazing and I absolutely fell in love! She was very quick to respond to questions I had. She also provided me with multiple suggestions prior to the photoshop and during the session she made me feel very comfortable!!! I am a newbie when it comes to taking professional photos and she comfortable in my own body and gave me several ways to position myself! I highly recommend her to everyone!

I am so happy with the service we received! I was induced 3 weeks early and only received a few days notice before the induction and I messaged about 20 photographers on Facebook located near me that had nice work posted and she was on of the first to get back to me AND be available. Everything was so fast and easy. She took our maternity pictures with my daughter and my 2yo son (who does not like taking pictures) and she still managed to get some great shots of us as a family and of my kids alone. I’m also usually a little awkward when it comes to taking pictures of myself but she knew every possible pose that would look nice and made me feel so comfortable. Not only did the pictures turn out amazing but she also had the pictures ready the next day!! It is clear she has a passion for what she does and she is very talented! I can’t wait for our next session!

I had a hard time picking a photograph for our wedding , but when I called Joann it was a Instant connection on the phone she was funny and made me feel amazing. Once I gone through my list honestly it was a NO Brainer SHE WAS THE ONE!!. She is very fixable and makes you feel so comfortable during your pictures.

My fiancé and I were put in a difficult situation when we had to let go of our previous photographer for our wedding just a couple months before the big event. We looked at several photographers and what felt like hundreds of galleries. When we were down to our final four, it was hard for us to make a firm decision, as we were cautious due to the previous bad experience that we had just gone through with the other photographer. Then my fiancé told me “so no to JoJo or did you like her stuff”? I was like. “Who is JoJo? I’ve never seen Jojo’s photos”. It gets a little confusing when you’re looking at several images, to keep them all straight. Immediately after seeing Joanna’s photos, our top 4 got tossed to the side and we knew at that moment we found our photographer :)


We spoke on the phone with Joanna and she was super friendly and had answers to all of our questions, and had more to share with us that we didn’t think of. We met Joanna at Knights Ferry for our engagement shoot, which is a must (very cool place that she suggested). Joanna was the sweetest person and, this time It felt to us like we were with a real professional. She was constantly helping us get into position, making sure hair wasn’t in my fiancé’s face. Making sure the lighting was just right before snapping shots. She was in her element, and we couldn’t be happier with how this session went!


After we parted ways. We were biting our nails waiting to see what we would get in our gallery (after the last disaster with the previous photographer) lol but when that email hit, we stopped what we were doing and went through every image and a huge weight was lifted. We were given the most beautiful pictures and couldn’t be happier. We will FINALLY have good pictures of us hanging in our house that weren’t taken from an iPhone lol.

Joanna did an amazing job with our wedding photos! I loved that she’s super personable, always willing to help & make time for her clients. Not only am I glad that I choose her as our photographer, but I’m glad to have meet such a sweet, caring individual.

To give some background information on our personal experience, we spoke to about 40 photographers after being dissatisfied with our initial engagement session with another photographer (after a very detailed and professional conversation about our concerns and a redo on the engagement session, again, with a different photog). I am very selective, picky, and critical to be blunt. Joanna was immediately responsive, answered all of our questions, sent us samples and more samples, and we loved her work and were confident in our change. With less than two months to go for the wedding, which we planned every small detail of for 18 months, she was immediately on board and developed an individualized package for us for our specific needs and wants. She took the time to get to know us and learn about us, stayed in touch, and did exactly what she promised for us and more. Joanna brought her talented and equally sweet daughter as the second photog and their chemistry was great. They definitely knew what they were doing. We love our pictures and the Lemus family!
