I researched a lot of private photographers before booking with Bellagala—most of which would have costed us $6k-$10K for two photographers for 8 hours. We seemed to think that was going to be our only option, or we were going to need to settle for one photographer. When I found Bellagala, I immediately was drawn to the photographer Ty because he had so many positive reviews where clients name dropped him. They even included some of the photos he took in the review and I instantly saw amazing talent and artistic skill. You don’t need to spend $6K on a photographer to get great photos. From the moment we connected we Ty, he we so kind and helpful to us because we are a couple that’s a little awkward/stiff in front of a camera. We had an engagement session with him first, which we considered to be our trial run. Ty did not disappoint. He gave us so many pointers that we were even able to apply to our wedding day and made the entire situation fun. He even showed us some pictures on his camera as he took them to help hype us up, or to use as inspiration to see if we wanted to try a picture pose again with something different. He’s super flexible. Then on wedding day, he came with his second photographer Amanda, who also was super personable and easy to work with. I’m glad he brought her because when we divided into groups to get bridesmaid/bride and groomsmen/groom photos, she kept the boys focused while also having fun. I’d absolutely recommend Ty to be your wedding photographer.

I found Alyssa after the initial photographer I had booked for my wedding completely stopped responding to all communication from us, and a second photographer we attempted to hire wanted us to change our entire wedding day timeline ( and then also stopped responding to us when we wanted to keep our timeline the same!) with just about 4 months to go til the wedding day. I would go through all of that stress again if it meant I would still end up with Alyssa! From our first conversation with her, my husband and I felt like we were in great hands, and all of the stress we had been experiencing around photography went away. Alyssa is the perfect balance of laid back with a master plan in her head of what needs to get done and made sure it all happened without it feeling like any part of the day was being rushed. It was a serious pleasure to work with her, and I would recommend her to anyone I know!

Paul's work was amazing. We are in love with the photos. He was also very flexible and patient since it took time for our final schedule to be finalized. I fully recommend his photography sessions!

I am a very happy repeat client of Frances + Tony Photography & Films. Her work is simply AMAZING! I have hired her to do my family pictures, my daughter's Sweet 16 party, her first prom pictures and most recently her wedding. During every event Frances was pleasant to interact with and had very creative ideas for poses which we all LOVED. The pictures were breathtaking and we were very pleased! I loved the fact that the pictures were posted to a viewing gallery and I was very conveniently able to order prints right from the site at a very reasonable price!! I'm looking forward to her photographing our wedding in Cancun. I would HIGHLY recommend Frances + Tony Photography & Films!!

TJ was an amazing photographer for both our engagement and wedding. His work is bright with a timeless feel, perfectly capturing our vibe. He was flexible and professional throughout. One of our favorite touches was his use of a Polaroid camera; during dinner, he surprised us with Polaroids from the ceremony laid out on our table. He also captured some amazing photos of us in the desert that people have said could be in a magazine. We received our wedding photos promptly and were thoroughly impressed with the results. We highly recommend TJ to anyone seeking a wedding photographer!!

From Day 1 I knew we were in the best hands. Madeleine took the time to understand our vision for the day and has so many tricks up her sleeve to get the absolute best photos. We trusted her when it came to lighting and the best backdrops and our photos turned out stunning. On top of that, our preview photo album was delivered to us just 3 days after our wedding! It was such a great surprise on the way to our honeymoon. Highly recommend Madeleine and her team, and I am so happy she was one of the first vendors I booked!

I can’t recommend Katie enough!! From her skill to her creativity and direction, she captured our wedding day so perfectly and made it such a breeze and fun experience along the way. We’ve been lucky enough to have Katie photograph us a couple times throughout the years so it felt so special for her to shoot our wedding day. Our family and friends felt so comfortable in front of the camera with her direction and she always had great ideas and poses for everyone. We got our wedding party portraits done before the ceremony which freed up time after the ceremony to get family shots and our solo wedding portraits too. It didn’t feel like a chore or like it took anything away from the day, but added to it! Once the dinner and party started, she was right there in the crowd capturing so many funny and special moments. Seriously, cannot recommend her enough. And she will travel! 10/10

We were so lucky to work with Roy at Terra Nova. He consistently went above and beyond, incorporating our creative ideas (and our brief to push the envelope stylistically); traveling to our venue for an on-site engagement shoot and property tour; promptly answering any and all questions throughout the process; and even finding us a last minute videographer when we were in a budget crunch, who delivered excellent videography of all key wedding moments and candids. Roy is a very calming presence, and exudes a fun, competent, and understated confidence. He made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and was never pushy/rushed/in the way on our wedding day. Last but not least, Roy is so creative and it shows in our outstanding wedding gallery! We wanted a gallery that was part documentary and part art - Roy really delivered, using a variety of photography techniques to make it happen, and we couldn't be happier with the result.
