Thomas and I met originally back in 2001 at a Halloween party. In total high school fashion, I heard through whisperings that Tom liked me. And of course I was curious and asked my friends if they had heard anything bad about him?? Good news no one had anything bad to say yay! Finally in the Tauber basement (LOL) he asked for my number. We hung out almost every day and on New Year’s Eve he asked me to be his girlfriend. Everything was perfect. Fast forward a few years my parents decided to move to New Jersey and his parents moved to Pennsylvania we did the long distance thing for a few years. In that time we were truly tested. We definitely had our ups and downs. But no matter how hard things got we knew we loved each other and had a connection that no words can explain. September 2007 we decided to move in together <3 December 24, 2008, Tom planned an early Anniversary date night in the City. We went to dinner at this amazing restaurant. I should have known something was up. Tom was so anxious the whole night and complaining about waiting 2 minutes for our table to be prepared. Things that normally would never bother him. After dinner and drinks we walked from the restaurant to see the tree. It was sooo warm out, so I guess that’s why there were about a million people there that night. Again Tom was freaking out "Why are there so many damn people here!" LOL I just didn't understand what the big deal was?? So we walked around for little more and we started to head back towards the car. After that it is kind of one big blur? But all I know is he pulled out this little box and there it was my beautiful ring!! He asked "Will you marry me" Shaking and crying I said "Yes!!!"
