Elopement Ideas?
Kristin in Planning, on June 14, 2012 at 5:51 PM

So now we are playing with the idea of eloping somewhere! Does anyone have any suggestion of places or ideas for elopement plans?

Budget Question!
Kristin in Planning, on June 7, 2012 at 2:51 PM

What's your budget and how did you set it? We are keeping ours low because we want to get a house shortly before/after the wedding!

Is my ring too loose? Stressed :(
Kristin in Etiquette and Advice, on June 12, 2012 at 5:19 PM

I know this is weird... but can a few of you explain how your ring fits? I can't tell if mine if fitting properly. I have already gotten mine sized down once, but I still think it could be too loose....

Do you think it's tacky when...
Kristin in Etiquette and Advice, on June 11, 2012 at 4:39 PM

Do you think it's tacky when people put their registry "card" (like, from BBB) in with the same envelope as the invite? Everyone seems to do that these days! I personally don't like it, though.

How many bridemaids will/did you have? (& how did you PICK them?!)
Kristin in Planning, on June 10, 2012 at 4:11 PM

I'm thinking about not having any and just having a MOH (and FH will just have a BM, no groomsmen) because our wedding will be small. I don't want 1/2 of our friends who are attending to be in the...

Buying a "wedding dress" at a normal store?
Kristin in Etiquette and Advice, on June 10, 2012 at 2:12 PM

Has anyone just bought a wedding-dress (ish?) looking dress at a normal store and used it as their wedding dress? I am planning on doing this to save money. Is this totally weird?

"Plus ones" that you don't know AT ALL? (small wedding)
Kristin in Etiquette and Advice, on June 8, 2012 at 4:07 PM

I want opinions! We are planning to give everyone a "plus 1" because we want people to celebrate our day with their loved one (husband/wife/fiance/SO). All of my guests are either married, engaged, or...

Do you have experience with this situation?
Kristin in Etiquette and Advice, on June 9, 2012 at 7:22 PM

I'm sure this is pretty common, so I thought I would post and see what everyones experiences have been with this! Have you ever had some not-so-great experiences of not inviting someone to your...

No DJ?
Kristin in Do It Yourself, on June 7, 2012 at 12:13 AM

Has anyone ever had or experienced a wedding without a DJ? We were just thinking about doing an ipod (hooked up to speakers) to keep the costs down. What do you think of this? Suggestions?

Kristin in Planning, on June 7, 2012 at 11:14 PM

What would you guys rather do: A. Have a less expensive venue with more expensive food (34 guests can fit into the budget). B. Have a more expensive venue with less expensive food (50 guests can fit...

Would no linens be too tacky?
Kristin in Etiquette and Advice, on June 7, 2012 at 12:32 AM

We are looking at a venue that charges a large amount for linens. Would it be too tacky to not have them and possibly substitute an alternative, cheaper table decoration to make it look a bit more...

Making it memorable..?
Kristin in Community Conversations, on June 7, 2012 at 12:30 PM

Kristin in Etiquette and Advice, on June 6, 2012 at 6:42 PM
