John and I actually went to school together our whole lives, but never really talked until we were adults out of school. My best friend from high school started a band, called Three Vultures, and recruited John as his drummer. Dustin talked me into coming over to one of his bonfires where I officially met/talked to John. At this bonfire, they then all talked me into going to their show in Pittsburgh the next day. I started to talk to John at the show and developed some attraction to him. I ended up texting Dustin telling him I had a thing for his drummer. From there on out we all started to hang out more and more until John and I started talking/hanging out separately from the group of friends. On October 10th, 2016 he asked me to be his girlfriend and it's been amazing ever since. This past October, on the 10th (which is was our two year anniversary), he popped the question and I became his fiance! So, obviously our "I do" date had to be 10/10/20.
