Ciprian did our wedding day photos as well as an engagement photo session. My husband and I are not naturals in front of the camera, but Ciprian made the engagement session very fun and relaxing. He captured our personalities and hobbies in the photos as well as an extremely gorgeous backdrop - and the photos turned out better than expected! On the wedding day, through all the nerves and emotions, Ciprian guided us through an emotional first look, then a bunch of fun photos with the wedding party and extended family after the ceremony. The REALLY special part, though, was the sunset and dusk photography of just me and my husband that Ciprian did. I'm really glad we trusted and followed his artistic direction, because the photos of just us are STUNNING. He used light and shadow and movement to capture our venue and the night so well. Overall, we feel very lucky to have chosen a photographer that not only hits all the standard shots (bridal party, family, dancing, etc.) but also has an artistic vision that he uses to elevate our photos together.

From our first contact, to meeting, up to our wedding...Gina was professional with constant communication before and after our wedding. Very genuine and really cares about your special day. Her photography is beautiful and captured so much more than I expected. We plan on having her take our family photos in the future.

Nina is an absolute professional to work with! We started speaking with her months before the wedding and she was always accommodating due to our busy military schedules. Our wedding was in Lake Tahoe, and both of us were stationed on the East Coast. We were able to build our itinerary for the day in detail over emails and phone calls, despite never being able to see the actual locations. Unfortunately, the weather would not cooperate for our original portrait location looking over the Lake, so she immediately adapted to the situation and took us to an alternate location right by the water. Throughout the day, she captured every single important picture. She will prepare in every way for your special day. The pictures turned out perfectly, better than we could have ever anticipated. She uses the weather to her advantage to produce the most stunning photos. She has been taking some time to develop the pictures, even though we have been dying to see them, but it's just because she is making them even better (if possible ;) ). We HIGHLY recommend for any couples looking for a photographer in the NorCal area. We LOVE Nina Photography!

Jen is an incredibly talented photographer! We have been lucky enough to have her photograph our Tahoe wedding, engagement, and family photos through the years. She is so wonderful at capturing the moment and making sure to get the shot before it's gone. She's great at guiding you for beautiful photos and she's an absolute pleasure to be around. She will make your wedding day special and not feel like a production. If you are in need of an amazing Tahoe wedding photographer, look no further! My now-husband and I hired Chris for our (originally) July 2020 wedding at Hyatt Lake Tahoe, which was rescheduled to November 2021 due to COVID. First, Chris was so incredibly helpful, responsive, and understanding through multiple date changes during an incredibly stressful time. I have so much respect for any vendor who has graciously helped couples reschedule during the pandemic at a time when I’m sure they were hurting as well. Chris’ process for making sure he has all the details covered was extremely thoughtful and helpful leading up to the wedding. We live in San Diego, so we could not meet him until our wedding day, but I was put at ease knowing he was a true professional. He sent out a questionnaire well in advance of our wedding day to gather the key photos we wanted, the people who needed to be in each, our timeline, and other special notes. On the day of, this pre-coordination meant he could ensure we were sticking to our timeline and getting all the key shots, which was really important given that the sun sets early in November. It also meant that the group shots were done efficiently without the opinions of every extended family member slowing things down! Seriously, handing off your plan to someone so organized and professional is such a blessing on the day-of – it lets you focus on just enjoying every moment! I cannot believe how many great shots of our wedding Chris was able to capture. It honestly seems like he was in 5 places at once to get so many incredible pictures of so many people. Most of the wedding pictures you see people post online are the posed group shots, but the shots we truly loved were all candid (Chris’ specialty). It takes some sort of superpower level stealth to capture the number of teary-eyed hugs and moments of pure joy Chris got in our pictures – the kind that transport you back to a feeling just by looking at them. Scrolling through them felt like re-living every nervous jitter and moment of warmth or fun of our big day, and not a moment was missed. I cannot thank Chris enough for his patience in working with us for what amounted to 2 full years of planning, for his preparedness and ability to blend in that meant we could live in every moment, and for capturing photos I know I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Highly, HIGHLY recommend Gabriel as your photographer! My wedding pictures turned out so gorgeous and I am beyond thrilled with the pictures and the experience Gabriel provided. He was flexible and patient and knew all the best go-to spots to capture incredible pictures. Gabriel was such a pleasure to work with and so friendly! I cannot recommend him enough!

My Husband and I first met Joe and Monique December 2016. We happened to be in Lake Tahoe for our wedding tasting and they scheduled us in after. The moment we met Joe and Monique we felt this instant connection. We knew we were in the process of making life long friends. After our meeting we continued to communicate through email/phone to schedule our engagement shoot. We had the best time with our engagement shoot. Joe and Monique took all the hassle out by hiring the hair and make up artists (which they only hire the best) and securing the shooting locations. It made it so convenient for us since we live out of state. This actually also helped me (the Bride) hire my hair and make up artist for my wedding day. Once we got our engagement photos back we were completely blown away. Joe and Monique captured some of the most beautiful pictures, they are jaw dropping. Both of our families couldn't believe how amazing they came out. It really got everyone excited for the wedding photos. We couldn't wait to see what they were going to capture. Our wedding took place in July 2017. Joe and Monique made the day so much fun. They literally had to wrangle cats with our huge families, and both of them remained very calm and professional during those stressful moments. We also did the bridal shoot about a month after our wedding and they again went over and beyond coordinating it all. We are beyond happy with the way our photos turned out! We look forward to working with them every year and see what beauty they will capture! They are not just our wedding photographers, they are now our good friends!

Hannah is a remarkable photographer. Not only is she talented, but she's also personable. The bride and groom's love were captured magnificently in the stunning Lake Tahoe setting. She has talent and knowledge about the surrounding areas. There is great value in her work. I couldn't have asked for better pictures. I would recommend Hannah to all who are looking for quality photos.

Kristen photographed our August 2015 wedding at the Asian Art Museum. Choosing the right photographer for our wedding was one of our most important decisions, since the photos were so important to us. We found Kristen through a referral from a different photographer we had reached out to but was already booked. Thank goodness Kristen followed up with us! A few things set her apart from the other photographers that we had met: 1. We were impressed by her portfolio. She is able to handle lighting both indoors an outdoors. In addition, she is able to capture beautiful portraits and candids. They are classic and timeless -- no gimmicks. 2. She photographs in both digital and film. This was really important not only for the aesthetics of film (softer and richer), but also because with film, one has to be more purposeful with the shots that are taken. 3. Kristen's personality and demeanor as a photographer is kind, encouraging and easy going. My husband and I were mentally prepared for a full day of photos, but we were looking for a photographer who would be able to corral and motivate our families to feel comfortable enough to take photos the entire day. 4. She had experience at our venue (Asian Art Museum). This was really key as we wanted to have someone familiar with the space who could bring her own ideas and also adapt very quickly. As far as the weeks leading up to the wedding and the day of, Kristen was so easy to work with. She was on top of coordinating with our venue, worked closely with us on our timeline and was receptive to our extensive shot list. On the day of, she and her assistant showed up on time, gathered our families and friends for dozens of portraits, and made us feel so at ease the entire day. Also, Kristen was game to climb a ladder to the roof to help us take some of our favorite portraits from the day. Kristen was able to get us our photos in a timely manner (MUCH sooner than we thought we'd get them). We were expecting to have a good dozen or so photos that we would love. Once we got them, we were blown away. She captured all of the key moments and more from our wedding. We can't thank her (and D'Arcy) enough for all of the photos and memories.
