My Dad is an alumnus of Loyola University so this was an easy pick for our wedding ceremony. The chapel is gorgeous and the grounds are perfect for a wedding as they provide privacy and beauty, especially for pictures! The university has this chapel running like clockwork so there is little flexibility in times and such. We were the only wedding of the day (they can schedule up to four a day) with the last time (6pm) and it was hard to get the school to budge on an earlier time for some do-it-yourself flowers to be delivered. There are other rules like you can't throw anything inside or out (petals, birdseed, etc) and they don't allow a runner along the middle aisle (you get ugly VCT flooring instead), but none of them are deal breakers. We organized a butterfly release (breathtaking - much better than rose petals anyway!) and you don't even notice the lack of runner. Outside of that, everything else was brilliant and the sacristan (helper on day of rehearsal and wedding) was lovely to work with. The value is incredible considering other churches wanted $1500 + to use their church. The beauty of the chapel speaks for itself. The west facing rose window is gorgeous in the early evening light and adds to the romance. I'm very happy we were married here!

We had our wedding in November and it was a dream come true! The cathedral is immaculate. We were very grateful for the package that includes music. Tiffanie the wedding coordinator did a phenomenal job with our ceremony planning and was super friendly. She made a way for all my requests and especially my grand entrance through the main doors. I highly recommend having your wedding ceremony here! The location is perfect as it does provide parking for guests. And Ken the organist is incredible to work with! He made our wishes come true.

We had a perfect ceremony at Old Otterbein - it is a beautiful church and the organ really made it extra special. We had our reception at the Hyatt at the Inner Harbor, and it was very walkable for our guests to get there after the ceremony. The church has parking for about 40 cars. The folks at the church were so nice and helpful during the planning and also during the rehearsal and ceremony. I highly recommend this church for your ceremony, even if you're not a member, it is a wonderful historic building and they welcome visitors.

We had our ceremony at Mt. Vernon Place. The church itself is beautiful, and is a true landmark in the city. Baltimore’s Washington Monument and a park are directly outside the church, so it is a great location for pictures and formals as well. The pastor, Pastor Craig Moore, was great. He was professional and friendly. We were able to work with him to create a service that was traditional, yet also reflected our personalities and inviting for our guests. Our ceremony was in early May, and the temperature inside the church was nice. Be aware that the church does not have air conditioning, so if looking for a late summer wedding, the church can be a bit hot. Also, the church is not handicap accessible which could be a challenge.
