Old Otterbein United Methodist Church, located at the corner of Sharp and West Conway Streets in downtown Baltimore, has hosted worship services since 1771 and is the oldest church edifice standing in the city of Baltimore. We are pleased that you are considering Old Otterbein Church as the location for your wedding service. You do not have to be a United Methodist to be married at Old Otterbein. However, we encourage you, if you do not have a church home, to spend some time in worship with us if possible, to better understand the foundations of this great church and get a sense of the honor that is placed on this biblical act called marriage.

* Our Sanctuary & Grounds - Our simple 1785 colonial sanctuary is perfect for the small or large wedding. With the balcony, the church can accommodate in excess of 240 attendees. Its high ceiling and plain windows are set off with warm natural lighting and music from our one-of-a-kind pipe organ that is over 100 years old. Even with its openness, there is still an air of intimacy for small family groups. The church grounds contain beautiful gardens that are perfect for wedding photographs.

* Our Location - Old Otterbein is located at 112 West Conway Street, Baltimore, MD 21201 in an ideal downtown location. We are located just one block from Oriole Park at Camden Yards, two blocks from the Inner Harbor, and are directly off of Interstates 95 & 395. In addition, there are numerous hotels, including a Sheraton, Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott, and Days Inn within three blocks of the church and several other hotels within walking distance.
