If you are looking for a prime Hamilton county location that will fit a budget, this is the place. My now husband and I found this place while researching venues and are so incredibly thankful we did. The coordination, food, experience, and property will make you feel so magical during your day. We had a small wedding/reception, with only 50 people including ourselves. This did not make the environment feel any less, in fact it was perfect. Caitlyn Richardson was with us every step of the way, worked with us on the pricing, and made our wedding the most perfect event.

We had our reception at River Glen and it could not have been more beautiful! The staff is amazing! They answered my 7 million questions with so much respect and they were so timely with responding. They helped with some last minute changes that rolled around! They set up the venue and it was so gorgeous! I could not be happier with River Glen. The deck overlooks the golf course and makes for a gorgeous view! Many decorations were factored into the price and beer and wine were included as well! I highly recommend!

This church provided the reception hall which is huge, elegant and beautiful! They offer the kitchen to cook in for additional $50 but will let you use it free of charge to warm and hold food. They provide, tables, chairs and a platform thingy if you like. They have a beautiful chandelier in the middle of the floor. You have to call them ahead of time to book the place so it's well worth it. You have a contract and everything. We had a DJ and were able to have liquor if we wanted with no issue. We were able to have our own caterer or cook our own food if we wanted. They took care of clean up we just had to put stuff in the trash and take our decorations.

The Wellington is a hidden gem off of I69 and 96th Street. The fee to rent the space is extremely reasonable. We chose this venue because of our budget, and we had a few out of town guests. The Hilton Garden is right next door to the venue, which made it convenient for our guests. Cami and Savannah were wonderful and helped us through all the details from start to finish. We signed our contract in June of 2021, and Cami let us pay what we could afford. Since my husband and I had to pay for everything, we would pay a little each month to reduce our balance. We appreciated the flexibility to "pay as you go." Cami also allowed us to use the hexagon arch for our ceremony, which saved us a rental fee and delivery fee. The transition from the ceremony to the reception was seamless. The food was wonderful, and the staff was friendly. One of my guests knocked over the centerpiece at their table and water went everywhere! Staff cleaned up the mess, and replaced the linen. Their quick response and helpful attitude saved our guest some embarrassment. Overall, I would definitely recommend this venue to family and friends.

I used this venue for a baby shower that I was planning from out of state. It was organized completely through phone calls and emails, I never saw the venue till I stopped by 1day prior to the event. John (the owner) was easy to reach, professional and helped me come up with the perfect vegetarian appetizer/buffet menu. The food was all very good, especially the vegetarian mini quiches. There were 15 of us, we were all able to sit at the main dining table which was perfect. The house is beautiful and very well decorated so you really only need a few things to personalize your event. Definitely recommend using Prairie Guest House.

Conner Prairie was, without a doubt, the best venue. My husband & I were continually impressed at their responsiveness, flexibility & genuine desire to get to know us! There was no point in time where we weren't sure exactly what was going on. Our event coordinator constantly checked in with us to make sure everything was turning out the way we had envisioned & even the small issues that popped up - once addressed with our contact were immediately taken care of. They were not only affordable but also actively wanted to help us make our day special, which came across as 100x more genuine than any other venue we toured. Both my husband & I cannot give Conner Prairie higher praise & are extremely happy to have started our lives together at this beautiful & historic place.

We had our wedding and rehearsal dinner at Balmoral House - and it was the best decision we made! The cottage was a perfect space and the venue and our bartender were super flexible and helpful to us at the rehearsal. Our wedding day of coordinator was through Balmoral - we had Jamie Smith and like others below noted - she 100% went above and beyond. There were things i had noted in passing about placement of items that she remembered and executed perfectly - and there were a million things i didn't even think of that she handled perfectly. I was told at my wedding there would be some things that went wrong or were misplaced that only I would notice - but literally there wasn't a single thing that wasn't 100% perfect. Our ceremony was at the pergola and it could not have been more beautiful, and our reception was on the patio with dancing on the deck. This was a perfect layout for our wedding size (~80 people) and created a ton of space. We used the bridal and grooms suites and they were really great - the only tip my groom had was to bring something to put you and the grooms' parties things in so they aren't scattered. Jamie was so great and easy to work with - she really made the wedding planning and day of the wedding so easy and stress free. She is extremely professional, personable, reliable, and flexible, and I cannot recommend her and Balmoral House enough.
