Working with the Royal Kona team (Maura, Pam, and Marites) was a dream! Their team is very communicative and responsive. They were able to help us turn our dream wedding into a reality. This was especially important to use since we were planning the wedding from another state. As soon as we arrived in Hawaii, everything was exactly as we had planned and expected. They truly have a dream team at Royal Kona!

Incredible experience.! 10 out of 10 absolutely recommended. Kat and the whole team made sure our experience was so beautiful and special. Every detail was beautiful. The guitar player, the hula dancer and the officiant give all of their beautiful energy to make the experience so unique and memorable.

My family and friends (35) stayed at the Kona Beach Bungalows for a week in May 2015 for our wedding. We booked through VRBO.com. This is a unique location because so many people can stay at the property, which gave us great opportunities to spend time together. If we had booked at a hotel we would have spent a lot more money on food and accommodations and we wouldn’t have been able to spend so much time together. Additionally, the spaces on the property are gorgeous. We had a lot of guests with cars, so it was great to have access to the market parking lot across the street to avoid crowding and blocking people in. Some of the rooms are a little smaller than expected, but they are nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. I don’t think people actually spent much time in their rooms except for sleeping anyways! The owners and the management company are incredibly responsive and flexible. Any problems that we brought to their attention were fixed quickly. One of the washing machines wasn’t working and the day after we reported it the machine was replaced with a brand new one! It is a big property and I know there isn’t time to inspect every element between guests, but don’t worry if anything isn’t right as they will fix it quickly for you or replace it! Everybody who came to our wedding loved the location and the property. It was great for the week and a perfect venue for our reception. We opted to have our ceremony at a separate beach because we have 50 people for the wedding and felt the space would have been a little too small for both the ceremony and reception. It was so beautiful that we saved a lot of money on decorations!
