Amie was so thoughtful and understanding. The mock up appt will clear up any questions or concerns you might have. She was punctual and spot on with my vision. I even had a last ask for my husband’s boutonniere, and she made it! The delivery and set up was one less stress w head to worry about. Amie is just great.

The owner was incredibly sweet whenever we talked on the phone about details and was incredibly understanding of my lower budget. I was really basic in my concepts (very simple, white flowers), and she was amazing at creating gorgeous bouquets & boutonnieres that were better than my wildest imagination. She came and delivered everything herself, as I believe I might have been her last bridal client. I wish her all of the best!

They did a fantastic job with the bouquets and all flowers over all! They brought the flowers to the bridal suite at the Aqua Turf, they were in vases or at least some source of water to keep them fresh. We loved meeting with Virginia and the staff prior to the wedding. We kept in touch with phone calls and emails. We had a lot of compliments about how beautiful the flowers were !

Collette is everything you could ask for a vendor— prompt, attentive, kind, patient, and so talented! She went out of her way to make me feel cared for and attended to throughout the entire planning process. She is extremely responsive, worked so well with our venue and other vendors, and was truly such a delight to work with. Not to mention, the floral arrangements she and her team created were absolutely STUNNING. I would recommend Collette’s services to anyone!!

Choosing A Gala Affair was truly one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very beginning, it was clear we were working with not only incredibly talented florists, but people who genuinely care about their couples. Deb and her team took the time to meet with us on video calls to talk through ideas, thoughtfully brought our vision to life, and even walked through our venue with us to ensure every detail was carefully planned. They also clearly invested a significant amount of time into creating beautiful, thoughtful proposals for us. They even provided a detailed breakdown of the specific flower varieties they planned to use, how those flowers would hold up in our August weather, why they were a great fit, and how they tied into our overall theme. Each proposal included photos that perfectly matched our vision, easy-to-read breakdowns, options that aligned with our budget, and additional ideas to elevate certain areas even further. This made it incredibly easy for us to make decisions and truly visualize how everything would come together. Deb and her team created several renditions of our proposal along the way and were extremely patient throughout the entire process. One thing that meant so much to us was how they collaborated with my grandmother, who is a florist herself and really wanted to be a part of our day in that way. It wasn’t always easy, but Deb handled it with so much patience, kindness, and flexibility, and helped us honor something that was really important to our family. On the wedding day, they went completely above and beyond anything we expected. Deb came in with her full team and absolutely transformed the entire venue. They built us a stunning broken arbor that created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony, and designed incredible cascading florals at our outdoor bar. When we chose the venue, the reception space felt a bit bland, but they completely elevated it with gorgeous centerpieces and a beautifully designed sweetheart table. Every space felt intentional, cohesive, and thoughtfully brought together. Despite the brief rain, they stayed to ensure everything remained perfect—including keeping all of the outdoor candles lit, which speaks volumes about their dedication. We purchased a custom neon sign of our last name separately and rented a boxwood backdrop from them, and they seamlessly set everything up together for us. It was a huge hit, with guests constantly taking photos in front of it throughout the night. The quality of the flowers was unbelievable—fresh, vibrant, and absolutely stunning. Our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful everything looked. Deb and her team also did an amazing job tying in our powder blue and gold theme throughout every detail—from the florals themselves to the candles, vases, and overall design elements. Beyond their talent, Deb and her team are just amazing people. What started as working with a vendor truly turned into building a friendship, which made the experience even more special. We cannot recommend A Gala Affair enough. If you’re looking for a florist who will go above and beyond, genuinely care about your day, and create something unforgettable, this is your team.
