Long Stem Weddings is a professional florist crafting floral designs for weddings across East Granby, Connecticut, and beyond. After 7 years of managing The Long Stem Flower Shoppe (owned by my mom, Debbie Byrnes), I have decided to branch off and focus all my attention on weddings. I am a certified florist, and I love working with flowers and greenery to create your dream wedding decor. I will do my best to work within your budget and make your vision come to life. Trust Long Stem!

Amie was so thoughtful and understanding. The mock up appt will clear up any questions or concerns you might have. She was punctual and spot on with my vision. I even had a last ask for my husband’s boutonniere, and she made it! The delivery and set up was one less stress w head to worry about. Amie is just great.

Excellent!!

I am sooo happy with Long Stem Weddings!! Amie did my bouquet, flower crown, and my husband’s boutonnière. I sent her some pictures with minimal knowledge as to what the flowers were and everything turned out sooo perfect!!! She came to the hotel right before the wedding the deliver the flowers and make sure that everything was perfect. I would highly recommend her!!

Very impressed with this company!

I was highly impressed with this company. They went above and beyond to help us when there was an error with another company for flowers. Amie stepped right up and was able to fix the whole situation for us! The flowers were fresh and beautiful and arrived on time to our location. I recommend this company!

A wonderful wedding experience

Amie has made our wedding experience so much better through her wonderful taste and sense of humor. She made every boutonniere, bouquet, and center piece gorgeous and through our vision. We really enjoyed working with her and received so many compliments on the flowers and the arch. She helped make our wedding beautiful and affordable!

Beautiful Fall Flowers

Amie and her staff did such a amazing job setting up the flowers and pumpkins at my daughter's fall wedding! Amie put together gorgeous seasonal flowers in the bouquets and ceremony arch, the colors popped in the sunshine. Amie is great to work with, she executed our design ideas perfectly in flowers. Highly recommended!

June 2021 Wedding

Amie and her team made my wedding day dreams come true! I had always said I wanted our focus to be on florals and have a romantic feel. From day one, she invited me to the shop and gave me so many great ideas until we had crafted what my wedding day flowers would look like. She would often check in through email to make sure we were still on the same page and offered to have me comeu in for a mock-up of what our bouquets would look like a few months before the wedding. The florals were absolutely beautiful, and a detail that I’ll always remember from our wedding day.

Highly Recommend!

Amie at Long Stem Flower Shoppe was amazing to work with. Unfortunately, due to COVID, we were unable to have our wedding in CT and had to cancel with her. I can't speak to how the florals came out... I can speak to the service she provided us. She responds to emails in a very timely manner. We had an initial meeting where we went over the details and she was very accommodating to our preferences and was able to work with our price range. When we had to cancel, she was extremely understanding and accommodating.

Great Experience

Amie did a wonderful job working with us for our "mini wedding". She worked with our unusual circumstances and it was perfect! Our bouquet, boutineer, and table arrangements were just as we discussed. She was very attentive and creative with our ideas and willingness to work within our budget. She sourced the specific vases we were looking for, and the flowers were fresh and beautiful. If we have any other events in the area that require flowers we will be return customers!

Our wedding 9.05.2020

Amie did my flowers for my wedding and I am absolutely BLOWN away! Amie was absolutely amazing at knowing what I wanted and how I wanted things. I'd send her multiple pinterest pictures and she blew them out of the park everytime. My bouquet for my wedding was so gorgeous I couldn't stop staring at it. I felt like I've known her my entire life. She responded so quick almost within minutes of every text or email I sent her. She made planning wedding flowers a breeze. I don't think I can recommend Long Stem enough! LOVE THEM!

Affordable, Helpful & Positive!

We worked with Aime from The Long Stem Flower Shoppe and I only have positive things to say. She made it easy for me, someone who didn’t really know what I wanted, she was affordable and accommodating, she was helpful even with my fake flowers for my centerpieces, quick responses, and overall kind person! Highly recommend!!!
