What a great experience! Chris and his team went above and beyond with their helpfulness; even snapped some photos of the ceremony! There wasn't a moment of stress during the night; everything was handled and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The food is amazing (they win "Best of the Gold Coast" all the time, in addition to other foodie awards in the area) and many guests commented. It's not the usual run of the mill chicken on a plate. They were very open with us about our budget, and worked with us on a menu that would fit.

I wish I could give a thousand and more stars to John Piro and Cheers. They were beyond amazing for my wedding on 9/9/2025. It was rushed but they were with me every step of the way. They put together such a beautiful evening, but beyond that they were compassionate, kind, and went beyond the duty of a catering company. I cannot recommend them enough. The food was delicious, the presentations were beautiful, and the staff was so friendly and professional while keeping the party going. As the bride I was always checked on, made sure I had drinks in my hand, and was set aside a plate to eat later so I could focus on guests. Vicki and John are amazing hosts and truly are passionate about their work. I cannot wait to hire them again for an upcoming event in October! Beyond helping me throw together a truly magical evening in less than a month, they also supported my family and I throughout the entire process. We had so much back and forth over dates and times due to a parent's illness. They were patient, realistic, stayed within our budget, and made sure we felt well taken care of during our special day. The menu was perfect and they listened to all our needs, including some vegan options for one of our guests. Food was delicious and we are still getting rave reviews! During the wedding there was an issue with the venue, and John himself served as my personal bodyguard to keep my guests and I unaware of the developing problems. The venue had our time slot mis-booked in their system, which ended in them trying to kick us out prematurely. He handled it like a pro and really saved the evening from being ruined. I am so grateful for everything he and his team did to make our event special. From the plates to the utensils to the food to the very end of the event, John and the CHEERS team exceeded my every expectation. If you want a perfect event with a team that cares beyond just the menu and drinks, please book them. They will deliver every step of the way.
