Juste Hors D’Oeuvres and Much More!

We worked with Marylyn to cater our outdoor wedding. Marylyn and Juste Hors D'Oeuvres provided more than just a catering service. She helped us think through the whole event, planning a timeline, as well as all of the food and drinks. She was communicative, helpful and honest, and made great recommendations for things that hadn't even been on our radar. She was kind and knowledgeable throughout the whole process, and helped us figure out the best options to meet our needs. Marlyn worked with us to save money where possible, without sacrificing quality. Sharii and the team who was at the wedding day of were all delightful and on top of every detail, not to mention food was delicious. Highly recommend!

Marylyn and the Juste Hors D’Oeuvres and More team are professional, hard working, and deeply kind people. The food they prepared for our 36 person outdoor wedding was fantastic, and the service was both professional and warm. My husband and I spent a lot of time with Marylyn ironing out the details of our wedding, and we truly cannot recommend her enough!

Throughout the menu planning process, Marylyn held our hands, made suggestions that saved us headaches (how many napkins to get, a plan b in case there was rain, etc.), and prioritized the specific vision we wanted for our wedding. My husband and I are vegan and Marylyn drew up a perfect 1/2 vegan, 1/2 meat-based menu within minutes of our first call. (Her homemade plant-based meatballs were universally praised at the wedding, from vegetarians and meat-eaters alike!) Her communication was clear and speedy, and her years of experience working in the wedding business were priceless.

We hired Juste Hors D’Oeuvres to cater an office Christmas party at our home. Working with Marylyn was an absolute pleasure. She is kind, thoughtful, and has exceptional attention to detail. Marylyn provided valuable guidance throughout the party planning process, offering helpful ideas relating to the flow of our party and food selections. She was also very helpful in selecting the rentals we needed for the party.

Marylyn and her team were professional, organized, and incredibly attentive to our guests throughout the party. The food was outstanding, and we received numerous compliments from our guests. I was also pleasantly surprised and truly appreciative that, despite having a full team working in our kitchen, it was left spotless, as if no one had cooked there at all, making cleanup after the party much easier for my husband and me!

Marylyn and her staff were incredible. The attention to detail and coordination ahead of time in coming up with a fantastic menu was top notch. The food was incredible! The shrimp and zucchini fritters were fabulous. We'll definitely be using her again in the future.

We truly cannot say enough good things about Marylyn and her incredible team. Our wedding was beyond anything we could have imagined; every detail was so thoughtfully handled, and the entire day was absolutely lovely from start to finish.

Marylyn and her team are true professionals and absolute experts in their craft. They took care of everything with such grace and ease, including some last-minute surprises. When unexpected rain rolled in, they managed it beautifully without missing a beat. I had forgotten to arrange for our cake to be decorated, and somehow, they made it happen at the last minute and it looked stunning! They even recommended a wonderful babysitter to look after the kids, which made a huge difference for us and our guests. She was so kind and attentive, and the kids were happy and well cared for the whole evening.

From the food (which was delicious!) to the decor and flow of the event, everything was just perfect. Marylyn and her team are the whole package: professional, warm, prepared for anything, and genuinely dedicated to making your day unforgettable. It was worth every penny, and I can’t speak more highly of the experience. Thank you for making our day so special!

We held a first-time corporate appreciation gala to honor our direct support staff who are the lifeblood of our community. The event was held on a Sunday evening (in our auditorium). With Marylyn’s talent and recommendations, the event space was transformed into an elegant five-star hall. Guests were in awe! She meticulously set up a computer-generated table diagram, worked with our dining management to rent proper equipment, consistently followed up open items we accepted responsibility to provide. Her recommendation for flowers and a DJ were top notch. I’ve never planned an event let alone an event for 200 guests (that I see daily!). The food was delicious and pleased a very diverse group of attendees. Looking forward to future events with Juste Hors D’Oeuvres and More.

I can’t recommend Juste Hors D'Oeuvres enough! Marylyn and her team made our wedding day absolutely amazing. From the start, Marylyn was a joy to work with. You can really feel her passion for what she does, and it shows in the incredible food.

She guided us through everything, helping us with rentals, alcohol, and so much more. Her advice was invaluable, making the process so smooth and stress-free. We knew immediately once we booked Juste Hors D’Oeuvres to cater my daughter’s wedding that we had made the right decision. Marilyn was warm and genuine in all of our meetings and interactions before the big day. The day of the wedding was amazing with Marilyn and her staff who were delightful, all zipping around getting things set up. Professional from beginning to end and I can’t say enough about how friendly and accommodating each of them were! Now for the food! It was superb! Appetizers, entrees and desserts and beautiful wedding cake were top notch and I’m still getting compliments from our guests on how delicious everything was. From the very beginning Marylyn showed an incredible attention to detail in crafting and perfecting our entire wedding menu.
