Hickory BBQ did an amazing job at our wedding in Highland NY! We had passed appetizers as well as stationary (gorgeous lamb chops, shrimp kebabs, mini chicken sliders) - all delicious. We had a buffet for dinner and the guests thought the food was fantastic, they loved it (and, I might add we had Texans in town who approved of the brisket!). Our package included a wedding cake and we worked with their baker, Kristi, which was a lovely experience - we did a cake tasting up at Hickory and got to know her while deciding on flavours (all were very tasty). The wedding cake turned out really well - pretty decoration and tasted awesome. We also had a table of desserts (crumb cakes and seasonal bakes) which went down very well. It was great working with Steve on the menu - and all the staff on the day. Thank you!!

Best decision we made. My brother & sister in law worked with Nicholas for their wedding a few summers back and we're so glad we did too. Our guests are still talking about how great the food was. Everything came out timely, delicious and well portioned. The passed apps were to die for - our guests couldn't believe how many options we had and never felt like they missed out on something because the staff did such a great job of making their rounds & re-stocking all apps. Nicholas was so great to work with and, when I told my coordinator we were working with him, she praised his professionalism and was so excited to learn we'd be working with the team. Would definitely recommend!

First of all I’d like to say that I am not one to write reviews… this is my first. But I felt like Adrienne and Randy absolutely deserve so much praise. From the very first phone call I had with Adrienne she made me feel very comfortable. She is the easiest, most down to earth person to deal with, and this holds true for Randy also. I immediately felt like I had known them forever. Not only did we use Plate and Graze for our daughter’s wedding of roughly 275 people, we also used them for her bridal shower. They, and their entire team, are very professional and run their events seamlessly. I did not stress or worry at all about anything, because I knew she would keep everything under control and running smoothly. Everyone continues to rave about the delicious food! There’s not one negative thing I can think of. The attention to detail was just amazing! Adrienne and our other vendors worked incredibly in sync together. The entire night was flawless and I can’t thank them enough for one of the most magical and memorable days in our daughter’s life. (Even with the rain!) If you are looking for a caterer I would absolutely recommend Plate and Graze. I know for sure any future event we have, we will be using them again. To Adrienne and Randy— I’m so glad I found you!! ❤️

Caperberry was the absolute perfect choice for our wedding. The food was simply divine, even impressing our discerning Spanish and French families, who have incredibly high standards. During our tasting I was blown away and was scared that when it came to making it for 225 people over 2 people it would loose quality but post-wedding everyone said they food was amazing and warm! The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was stunning. The service was impeccable. Every member of the Caperberry staff was attentive, courteous, and always willing to go the extra mile. Michelle, our day of wedding coordinator, was truly exceptional. Even when we faced a last-minute change due to rain, she knew my vision with our outdoor games and portrait photography and brought it inside seamlessly. Michelle, made sure to not bother us the day of and handled everything. Planning our wedding with Christine was a joy. She was incredibly patient, supportive, and always had creative suggestions. We appreciated her ability to work within our budget without sacrificing quality. She even helped us find ways to save money on many of our DIYs and events, which was a huge relief. I had VERY big ideas she helped find ways to make it happen and did not find extra costs for everything. It felt like she was family by how much she wanted the day to be exactly our vision. Caperberry's value was truly exceptional. The quality of the food, the impeccable service, and the seamless planning process were well worth the investment. We would highly recommend Caperberry to any couple looking for a truly unforgettable wedding experience.

We can’t thank Shale Hill Events enough for making our tented backyard wedding absolutely perfect. I worked closely with Brianne, who was our point person throughout the planning process. Her expertise, warmth, and organization made such a difference—she truly took the time to understand our vision and helped bring it to life with ease and care. On the day of the wedding, Lisa from the Shale Hill Events team was onsite and was an absolute rockstar. She managed the staff with calm confidence, handled the behind-the-scenes logistics, and worked closely with our planner to make sure everything stayed on schedule—so that we could be fully present and enjoy every moment without stress. I don’t think we looked at the time once all day, which speaks volumes about how smoothly everything flowed. From vendor suggestions to layout logistics to all the tiny touches that made the day feel personal, the entire Shale Hill Events team went above and beyond. It truly felt like we had a trusted friend in our corner the entire way through. Our guests are still raving about how magical the celebration was. And the food!! The food was absolutely phenomenal—beautifully presented, thoughtfully curated, and delicious. Thank you, Shale Hill Events, for helping create a day that was beautiful, meaningful, and completely unforgettable!

We can’t thank BMB enough for catering our wedding at Onteora Mountain House this past September. A beautiful day perfected by delicious food and incredibly kind service. From the hors d’oeuvres to the plated service, to the beautiful cake… we could not have been happier. The tasting was one of our all time favorite parts of wedding planning because they make it IMPOSSIBLE to choose! You cannot go wrong and they are super flexible regarding customizations or allergies. Thank you to the team who made our dream day come to life, and keeping our guests so so happy!

The Whole Package We highly recommend MIchael Bick of ‘Some Things Fishy” to cater any event. He is super experienced, talented, patient and kind (which is a must in wedding situations!) He is a true help from the very beginning of event planning, suggesting menu items that fit your vision and meets the needs of all guests. The food is creative, beautifully presented and most of all uniquely delicious! He even injects a little fun…..Cappucino brownie milkshakes….edible spoons!!! We most recently used him for a 50 person wedding on a cow farm! He effortlessly provides top notch appetizers and a full course meal from a few work tables and an oven under pop up tents (he brings)! The family style meal was both elegant and comforting.The service was flawless, kind and friendly. The complements from guests were outstanding, many saying they felt they were in a 5 star NYC restaurant, not the middle of a farm! (Though the cows peeking into the tent from the next field gave it away!!!) His years of experience is also a great value in creating a seamless event just about anywhere. He and his staff are helpful in every way necessary…..quietly moving chairs from ceremony to under the tent, moving cocktail tables under the tent during a rain shower and back out again, moving flowers from ceremony to under the tent etc. His flexible nature is the best and you always feel things are under control and in good hands. As an aside we have also used Michael for 2 other buffet style events (30-50 people).We chose creative sliders and side salads…all delicious and flawless! Thank you Michael and all!!!

We thought they were an excellent caterer, great food, terrific staff. Used them for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding.

Amazing food and friendly service are the hallmark of Jets International Hospitality Group! The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The owner and staff were both professional and welcoming. Highly recommend for any wedding or special event!

Linda and her team at Grounded did an excellent job catering and day-of coordinating for our wedding. It was tricky to find a caterer in the area willing to cook Korean food (and kosher at that!), but Linda enthusiastically leapt at the challenge and absolutely nailed it. Her and her team were helpful, adaptive, and flexible, and the ultimate execution of the food and the wedding made us, and more importantly our guests, very happy.
