What a great experience! Chris and his team went above and beyond with their helpfulness; even snapped some photos of the ceremony! There wasn't a moment of stress during the night; everything was handled and I didn't have to worry about a thing. The food is amazing (they win "Best of the Gold Coast" all the time, in addition to other foodie awards in the area) and many guests commented. It's not the usual run of the mill chicken on a plate. They were very open with us about our budget, and worked with us on a menu that would fit.

They were absolutely amazing in a lot of ways, and tough in others. Here's what I'll say -- our guests are STILL talking about the food at our wedding, which is what we wanted. The food was soooo good and The Spread was really fantastic about doing something special and different with us, which was to serve dinner in a kind of family/ tapas style. They don't seem to be used to catering for weddings, though, so a lot of things came as a surprise to us. They needed us to rent ALL dishes (I mean, even serving trays and utensils), for instance, which really increased our price. They were also really pricey, themselves. Still, I'd do it again. The food was really impressive.
