If you are looking for the most uniquely fun wedding venue, look no further!! Camp Carmel Valley is hands down the best choice!! As a a wedding planner myself, I have seen a lot- and I can confidently say that choosing Camp as our wedding venue was the best choice we could have made for so many reasons! From the very beginning my husband and I knew we wanted our wedding to be more than just a one day event and I wanted it to be like no other wedding that any of our guests had ever been to. My goal was for all of my guests to feel taken care of the entire weekend with fun activities and lots of love, so when we found Camp it felt like the perfect option for us! Obviously Camp Carmel Valley is absolutely STUNNING, with gorgeous oak trees and Spanish moss, how could you not fall in love with the scenery?! It is such a unique venue with the most quaint cabins, and great facilities throughout the entire venue. Although the beauty of Camp is hard to compete with, the main reason our wedding was so incredible is because of their camp manager David!!! I don’t even know where to begin with how incredible David was throughout our entire wedding weekend. From the moment we arrived at the camp, it was clear that we were in great hands, but we could never have predicted just how much David and the rest of the CCV team would go above and beyond. When unexpected issues arose, David swooped in like a true superhero- literally saving the day. He handled everything with such grace, professionalism, and total calmness that it honestly felt like nothing was too big of a challenge. Seriously, my wedding weekend would not have been successful without David, and I am eternally grateful for everything he did. I had the most amazing time because of him. I went into that weekend worried that I would be playing the role of both the wedding planner and the bride, but David ensured that everything was handled to perfection, so I could just enjoy! Every guest felt taken care of, and we had the time of our lives, all thanks to David’s expertise and dedication. It truly felt like David and his team were 100% committed to making our day perfect, and we felt so supported throughout the entire planning process. If you're looking for a wedding venue that is not only absolutely stunning but has the BEST camp manager who will be your rock, your calm in the storm, and your secret weapon to making everything run smoothly, look no further. We can't speak highly enough about our wedding reception at Carmel Valley Lodge! We searched for months for the perfect venue and got so lucky to get in touch with Candace. They are truly a hidden gem. We're not from the area, but it was a seamless planning process. There was so much flexibility in budget, vendors, and style. Our guests were impressed with the atmosphere, the mountain views, and the homey suites. I owe it all to Candace for being very responsive and an expert on the big day. She genuinely cared for our vision to come to life. We would do it all over again!

As a wedding planner, I work at many venues and I honestly cannot say enough great things about Holman Ranch and their entire team! Not only is it a stunning property, but the staff and their attention to detail is unmatched. They make the planning experience for both myself and my clients, an absolute breeze. I highly recommend Holman Ranch!

My wife and I had our wedding at Bernardus Lodge last month, and it was wonderful. The venue itself is breathtaking with a picturesque landscape that provided a perfect backdrop for our ceremony in their Rose Garden. The mountains and vineyard views added a touch of the natural beauty that we were looking for. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Every staff member we encountered was attentive and ensured our guests were well taken care of throughout the event. They even provided sun umbrellas to our guests during our ceremony! Special thanks to Briana, who helped with coordination and making sure that everything ran smoothly. Her experience with weddings at Bernardus Lodge took a lot of the stress off our shoulders, allowing us to truly enjoy our day. Finally, the suite we stayed in at Bernardus Lodge was spacious, luxurious, and designed with comfort in mind. Our stay was as memorable as the event itself and we can’t recommend Bernardus Lodge enough for anyone looking for a wedding venue.

This is the BEST kept secret in Carmel/Monterey for a reception venue, BY FAR! We paid $1800 for the entire facility, were able to decorate however we wanted (REAL candles, use of the garden, fire pit, barn, etc). Most places in Carmel require you to use their caterer, cake person, florist, etc which I didn't want to do. We picked all our own vendors, had a cocktail reception in the garden, and dinner/dance in the beautiful barn. There's plenty of parking, they have tables you can use, and beautiful paper lanterns. The best part is NO TIME LIMIT!! We danced the night away until midnight. If you know the Monterey Penninsula you know that every other place makes you stop your music by 9 or 10pm. Not so at Hidden Valley, you can stay as long as you want. For us, this was the PERFECT place. If you'd like photos or ideas of how to decorate the place I'd be happy to email you.

Wow! Our wedding was at Stonepine Estate and it was an incredible weekend. The venue is so unique for California and it truly feels like you are transported to Italy. Each space is so well thought out, detailed, and beautiful. We loved the charming Italian feel of the Chateau and the Western contrast of the Double H Ranch. We incorporated both into our wedding day and our guests were continuously wow-d as they moved through the spaces. The venue also needs very minimal decorations for a wedding since it is so grand. We stayed on-site in the Chateau which was so amazing. The grounds are beautiful and it was fun to use the pool and enjoy the many available spaces over our three days there (and the incredible breakfasts!). Stonepine has an amazing team. Oceanne and Ari helped us navigate every detail and gave so much care into the planning of our day. Nathan and Julie were excellent hosts in the Chateau and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The wedding truly could not have been a more beautiful or special day.

The venue is a bit of a drive through some winding hills but the end result is absolutely worth it. The vineyard nestled into the valley create a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and amenities like the bridal suite and groomsmen quarters are spacious and well kept. Management is responsive and flexible and Josh really put in work to make sure everything was in place before the wedding then stayed and helped out throughout the reception and dinner to make sure things ran smoothly. The venue price was also a great, not super expensive, which made it very worth it when considering how beautiful it is. Word of advice… the hotels/motels/Airbnb’s all fill up fast in Carmel Valley, so make sure guests reserve their rooms far in advance! Would definitely recommend for those looking for the vineyard-style wedding

We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than Gathering Ground. The beautiful scenery and location made for such a special wedding day, and in fact we had multiple guests tell us it was the most beautiful wedding they’d been to. It truly felt magical from start to finish. Additionally, the owners were fantastic to work with and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. They were professional, very responsive to any questions I had, and showed true care in making sure the wedding day went smoothly. If you’re looking for a venue that combines beauty, wonderful owners, and an unforgettable atmosphere, Gathering Ground is it! We’re still glowing from the experience!

I am a caterer and wedding planner in Monterey County and I think Albatross Ridge Winery is by far the most gorgeous property in Carmel/carmel valley area. The land is private, yet expansive, with 360 degree views of mountains and in the distance, even the ocean of Carmel. The property owners are wonderful to work with. There is a care and professionalism with their team, that is how a wedding venue should feel. We love working with Albatross and cannot wait to plan and cater more events on the ridge! This is a truly special property.
