Wedding Hair & Makeup in Arizona

Erica was a professional from booking through following up afterwards. I had told her I wanted to look tan, but not too tan! for my son’s outdoor garden wedding. I wanted to look natural. She made great suggestions. She texted me a couple times after to see how things were going too. I did ask for a trial tan several weeks before the wedding, which I think was worth it to make sure we had the right color and to see how my skin would react to everything. I recommend doing a trial tan if you can. Erica is responsible, talented and responsive….. highly recommend!

I was so stressed trying to find the right hairstylist for my wedding day who would also fit in my budget and still have my date available in the midst of wedding season (since I booked fairly late in the game). I especially wanted someone to do a low-romantic updo style, and the salon I was originally looking at just didn't have much like that in their portfolio. Luckily I found Liz with The Blowout Blond in time got set up a trial and book her for my mid-May wedding. She was great to work with and had no troubles working with my step-daughters who have major social anxiety. She was equally great with my besties who had gone so long without a hair cut (due to their long, straight styles) that she offered them a quick trim to clean up their ends. And when she sensed that the first go at my hair wasn't quite how I was wanting it (I was trying to just be polite and wasn't communicating clearly, but she read straight through me, thank goodness), she confidently said "no problem" and took it down so we could re-do it, which resulted in everything coming together just right! All my gals and I looked so beautiful with the help of her handiwork, and I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for special event hair! Photo credit: DePoy Studio

Beth was wonderful to work with!! She was open and flexible when I decided a week beforehand I wanted to go with a different hairstyle. Beth is kind and has a calming presence and is easy to talk to, plus she is very talented at what she does and I’m very happy with my hair and makeup! :)

Shani and her team were amazing! I’ll keep it brief because this could be a long drawn out story. But Shani, day of event, was super flexible, helpful, professional, kind and attentive to me and my daughter for my daughter’s Quinceañera. My mother was admitted into the hospital with sepsis and needed emergency surgery the day of our event so I was an emotional wreck. Photos were cancelled, our schedule had changed in order to juggle the uncertainty of the party, but also my mom’s health. So much was uncertain. Shani was calm, understanding, accommodating, she prayed for my mother’s healing, and of course was an exceptional makeup artist that made my daughter and I feel extra beautiful. Ee had the party after my mother’s surgeon stated all went well. Everybody stated my daughter looked absolutely gorgeous! Shani still keeps in touch to ask how my mom is doing and I appreciate her so much. I thank God that Shani found her way into our paths because there is no one like Shani. If I ever need a makeup artist in the near future, Shani will hands down be the first person I look for. Love Shani and my experience with True Beauty!

Carrie was very professional and knows her cosmetology. I gave her some vague things I wanted some that seemed contradictory and she gave me a beautiful hair style. The makeup was just as impressive. I also liked that she could do bot hair and makeup. I would recommend her to anyone.

A fantastic experience for getting ready in the morning. Lydia, Nani, and Kassie were an amazing team on my wedding day. They were prompt and timely, which is fantastic for someone like me who would be stressed about schedules. As an asian bride with primarily asian bridesmaids, I was very worried initially about the makeup looking too tan or just not looking suitable for asian features. But Lydia and her team definitely took away those worries and did above and beyond for me, my mom, and my bridesmaids. It was the first time for my mom to get her makeup done, and she was very happy how her hair and makeup turned out. For me, on my makeup trial, Lydia was so patient with me while I tried on stuff and really changed things up during the whole trial. I really appreciated her allowing me to really trial what I liked and didn't like. The wedding day was even better than the makeup trial! I had made some last minute changes to the hair and lip color, and Lydia rolled with it and worked her magic like a charm. I felt like an absolute princess. I'm so happy I had hired you guys as my team in the morning and would recommend you to anyone getting married, but esp my Asian brides out there!

Jessie is an absolute delight. She is so easy to work with and very affordable. When meeting Jessie you can tell she loves working with her brides! Jessie not only makes you look beautiful but, makes you feel just as beautiful. She made sure I absolutely loved my make up and she did a touch up to ensure my pictures looked beautiful. My make up looked amazing through pictures , ceremony , and reception. Jessie did an amazing job.

I highly recommend Philly Hair Co for all your bridal hair and makeup needs! My wedding glam was everything I dreamed of and lasted all night. My skin was glowing and my eye makeup didn’t smudge at all. My hair stayed up in place even after hours of dancing. Ashley is extremely knowledgeable and transparent when it comes to all styles and colors and sets realistic expectations.

Carla did an outstanding job making my hair dreams come true and everyone that she and her team member styled looked absolutely outstanding!! I highly recommend her!! I was worried I wouldn’t like my style choice but my dreams came true and it looked incredible 💗
