I recently got married and was torn about whether to have my makeup done professionally. With less than a month to go before the big day, I reached out to Shani at True Beauty & Co., hoping she’d be available—and to my relief, she was! Shani was incredibly responsive, setting up a short Zoom consultation where she walked me through her makeup and hairstyling services, as well as the packages she offered. She followed up promptly, and I was able to secure the date with her.
On my wedding day, Shani and her teammate Enid arrived right on time and made me feel like an absolute queen. Shani’s kindness, professionalism, and excellent communication made the entire process so smooth and stress-free. I couldn’t have been happier with the result! Shani has such a gentle touch and an amazing eye for enhancing your natural features rather than covering them up. She took the time to explain the products she was using, offered personalized skincare recommendations, and even shared the products and tools I could use to recreate the look at home. I really appreciated how open and educational the experience was.

She had everything needed to perfectly match and blend my makeup to my skin tone, creating a flawless finish that looked radiant in person. Beyond her artistry, she was incredibly uplifting and positive, making the entire appointment relaxing and enjoyable.

For planning purposes, I like someone who knows lots of vendors so I can be totally taken care of. She has a network of vendors and was able to recommend hairstylists, nail tech, stylist etc… such a bonus.

I came from out of state so she did a Skype video with me before my wedding and went over everything I wanted. On the morning of, she came to me with everything. She made sure I was comfortable and conversation was very easy. She did exactly what I asked for and made me feel so beautiful on my special day. Shani was amazing. She is so nice & makes you feel so relaxed & comfortable. Did a trial before wedding. She listened to what I loved & did not love. For the wedding she did an amazing job.
