I recently got married and was torn about whether to have my makeup done professionally. With less than a month to go before the big day, I reached out to Shani at True Beauty & Co., hoping she’d be available—and to my relief, she was! Shani was incredibly responsive, setting up a short Zoom consultation where she walked me through her makeup and hairstyling services, as well as the packages she offered. She followed up promptly, and I was able to secure the date with her.
On my wedding day, Shani and her teammate Enid arrived right on time and made me feel like an absolute queen. Shani’s kindness, professionalism, and excellent communication made the entire process so smooth and stress-free. I couldn’t have been happier with the result! If you have a special occasion and want to look and feel your most beautiful, I wholeheartedly recommend True Beauty &Co.! -

Shana was very responsive and professional from day one. She provided makeup services for me and a bridesmaid, and set us up with other beauticians as needed for remaining hair and makeup needs. She answered all my questions, and worked with me to develop a look that I loved. Her tips for getting ready and skincare product recommendations also made a huge difference. She and her team travelled to our venue and were efficient but very fun to get ready with. Great experience overall! -

I can't recommend this hair and makeup team enough! Shani's communication was seamless from the first inquiry to the big day or my daughter's wedding. The whole process was stress-free and the quality of work was incredible. They perfectly captured the look the bride wanted as well as all of the bridesmaids and the mother of the bride. All of our looks lasted the entire evening. They truly made us all feel list the most beautiful versions of ourselves! -

Shani was incredible to work with for my wedding! She was responsive, professional, and was so easy to work with for my wedding. She came to me on my big day and helped me, my sister, and my mother in law get ready. All of our makeup was done with care and consultation and we all looked amazing for the rest of the day. Professional and knowledgeable.
Chani was responsive and attentive which was a priority. I was an out of state bride without connections in the area. When I started looking, very few vendors messaged back. Chani messaged back within 24 hours and set up a video call. She requested inspiration pictures and brought palettes that aligned with what we talked about. I did a trial and day of makeup, so extremely pleased. Day of Chani arrived earlier than our agreed time and was ready to go. She got right to work and was done ahead of schedule. Her energy and positivity is contagious. Hands down best decision I made to have Chani as part of my day. Would work with her again if the occasion arose. -

Great makeup experience!
Shani was great! She was very professional and timely. She also truly helped me create the look I wanted for an event. She perfectly matched my undertones and taught me little tricks about make up while she was working. She also was happy to make any modifications, which I appreciated as I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted til I saw it. The end result was beautiful and I felt confident and gorgeous after! -

Shani (makeup) and Josh (hair) were so sweet and considerate. This was my bestfriend's wedding and my first time planning a wedding. We had an issue with our first makeup and hairstylist needing more services than our bridal party could book. But Shani came to the bride day of for a set price which is what we needed. She and Josh both made changes after the trial based on what the bride requested. (The bride never wears foundation and was uncomfortable with full coverage, Shani was able to adjust her process and products to accommodate a lighter/sheer coverage that the bride was needing/wanting.)
They were both sweet, prepared, and respectful of last minute changes (a bridesmaid service added on, and me running around like a chicken with my head cut off.) Thank you again!True Beauty & Co.'s reply:

Ms. Shani taught me how to conceal my dark circles under eye, look at my photos, whichever side looks nice is because of her. I will always learn from her to improve my professional look. I highly recommend her for your makeup goals. She is the only expert I need. I really love how I look now, thanks to her, I feel more confident.

Shani was our makeup artist for our Melanated Sex Expo weekend in Tucson. We filmed a podcast with Kandi Burruss, and Shani made sure our makeup was flawless for the interview. On the next evening, we had a Sexy Superheroes and Villians Cosplay party and I was looking for a super dramatic glam look. She did not disappoint. I appreciate that she is flexible and adaptable to all looks. -

Scheduled full face makeup a local, retail beauty store because I needed to retake my passport photo. I didn’t want tired mom face! I ended up with Ms. Shani because my MUA was running late. I was more than ok with this! 1) because I worry about MUA matching makeup to my skin tone and 2) I met Ms. Shani at a beauty demonstration last year and thought she was wonderful. Ms. Shani helped situate my son who was with me and showed me pics sample looks. She was personable and professional. She not only made me NOT look like a tired mom, but she had me radiating! I left there feeling cute and confident! -

I was turning 50 and decided to plan an extravagant all-day event. Shani showed with a full makeup setup as if we were on location for a movie. She worked efficiently, quickly, and kept on-lookers away at the same time. My look went from day to night and was flawless. I gave her beauty to work with, and she gave me back exquisite. I was very impressed with Ms. Shani the first time I used her to do my facial for my baby shower! I got so many beautiful compliments about how pretty my makeup was! I loved her work so much that I decided to come to her again for my 40th bday to get my makeup done again. I lost her info from my previous contacts & didn’t rest until I was able to find her again! She is so pleasant, very kind, and very professional! She takes her job very seriously & gives great customer service. She is such a pleasure to be around & is a great makeup artist! Shani is the makeup guru! She has so much training and knowledge about makeup that she will recommend the perfect balance for you! She will never put anything on your face that she hasnt researched! I use to be one of those OCD people that only bought makeup from one line but she has introduced me to some gems in other lines that I swear by! Please sit down with her for a few minutes and you will learn a new trick...she tells all her secrets! -

I can't speak highly enough of my experience with True Beauty & Co. I'm by no means a beauty expert, and I was nervous about working with a makeup artist, but Shani made me so comfortable throughout the whole process. I asked for a last-minute change (switching to a softer eye from a more glamorous look), and she not only accommodated me but created a look that was exactly what I had hoped for. The final product was wonderful and made me feel like the best version of myself; even my fiance, who's not a big fan of full makeup, kept commenting on how much he loved it. Bri also did an amazing job on my problem hair! All in all a terrific experience, and very affordably priced at that. Definitely recommend! -

This crew was amazing. Not only did they wake up before the sun rose, but they work 6 of my bridesmaids. They worked hard and produced beautiful work on myself and all my girls. Would recommend for anyone. They are a fun team who will make you beautiful on your special day. -

Boho Wedding hair of my dreams
I provided a few pics of what i was ooking for: a boho updo or braid with lots of loose tendrils and flowers. A few extensions, 1 trial session, and lots of laughs later, Shani and the girls delivered. My bridesmaids and I all all the boho style needed to polish off my rustic wedding vibe. My long, chunky braid with flowers and baby breath was the talk of the night. Can't say enough about this team of professionals! -
