My fiance and I wanted to make sure we had a queer friendly jeweler, and we found Krikawa through a web search. She worked with a designer to make an engagement ring out of stones from some family heirloom jewelry, and my ring could not have been more perfect. We recently picked up our matching wedding bands (also using stones from heirloom jewelry) and we can't wait to wear them. When designing the bands, we went in together with a loose vision of what we wanted and Lisa and Sandrine helped make that vision come to light. If you want a truly unique piece (and a queer friendly jeweler), I highly recommend Krikawa! P.S. They do a wide variety of styles and offer a ton of customization, so even if you don't see exactly what you want, they can likely make it happen. My engagement ring is a little daintier and simpler than most of the pieces I've seen on their instagram, and it came out perfect.

Getting engaged was one of the most special moments of my life, and Elite Jewelry was a big part of that moment. My fiancé and I never shopped for rings together, but he knew the style I favored. My Fiance and I went to visit my cousins who live in the Phoenix area and my fiance left with my cousins husband to go and buy my engagement ring. The boys completely lied to us and did not tell us what they were doing. My fiance picked out my ring and then, with good suggestion, bought it when we came back to NY where we live, something to do with the tax. He bought it and they shipped it to my fiance and he kept this huge secret for 3 months before he popped the question. So we made another trip to Arizona a year later to buy our wedding bands. Now meeting Jason, one of the owners i think, helped us pick out our rings and he was wonderful. He gave us a deal because we were returning clients. He was wonderful and our rings are absolutely amazing!! And the quality is just amazing. When i went to get the rings appraised i was floored because they appraised it for much much more than my fiance paid!!

Absolutely fabulous! Everyone was so friendly and his designs are beautiful and unique. Our wedding bands were gorgeous!

I bought my fiance's wedding band from this company, but we bought ours in Montclair. They were very friendly. They didn't make you feel like I shouldn't be in their store like some places do because I look very young. My only issue was I felt like they were trying to use sales tactics to make a sale, but they were not pressuring me. I just tend to feel that way, it is a big purchase. We did discuss it further and we got a nice price on the ring, at least $100 than other jewelers. And they were also quick to explain the guarantee on the ring, which other places tried to charge for, or didn't tell us all together. (We looked at the exact same ring at each store, all the same brand.)

We worked directly with Marc Burland. He helped us stay within our budget. Helped find the perfect diamond. Listened to all our concerns and requests. Everyone at William Thigpen Jewelers were friendly, professional and so helpful to us in finding the perfect ring. I wanted a vintage wedding ring, under $2,000, platinum and diamond, and took them several print outs from Fay Cullen's super expensive site for a ball-park of what I was looking for in a ring (you have to be more ball-parky when looking for vintage/estate pieces). Not only did they scour their contacts to find me a great ring with a huge diamond, but the ring also had sapphires in it the same color as my husband's eyes. Seriously, these people mean business and their prices are amazing.
