We could not be happier with our experience at Kennolyn Hilltop Hacienda! From start to finish, everything about this venue made our wedding day feel effortless and magical. We wanted a casual yet beautiful setting, and the stunning scenery here was everything we had hoped for and more. The wedding coordinators were the biggest contributors to our wedding day's success. They guided us through every single step of the planning process, making it feel smooth and stress-free. We booked far in advance and they were constantly touching base and there to answer every and any question. Our day-of coordinator was an absolute gem too, ensuring that everything ran seamlessly so we could relax and fully enjoy the day. One of our favorite features of the venue was the charming courtyard. It created the perfect intimate space for our loved ones to mingle during cocktail hour, get cozy during first dances, and ultimately dance the night away. It was exactly the atmosphere we had envisioned. Not to mention, the DJ (Sound in Motion) that the venue provided read the room perfectly and was not only an amazing MC, but flawlessly catered to our guest's vibe. Our guests were also blown away by the venue’s beauty. We had countless people telling us throughout the night, "How did you find this place?" and "The drive up here was absolutely gorgeous."—a true testament to how breathtaking it is. I was never someone who dreamed of their wedding day. Working with Kennolyn though, my mindset completely changed. We had so much fun planning as they brought amazing energy and motivation to the process. Choosing Kennolyn was one of the best decisions of our lives. No exaggerations! If you’re looking for a venue with gorgeous scenery, a relaxed vibe, and an incredible team to bring your vision to life, choose Kennolyn Hilltop Hacienda.

Jardines garden was the perfect setting for our wedding. The lush green trees and flowers gave our day the perfect backdrop. Bly and her team went above and beyond in helping us plan. We were able to customize our day and get what we wanted for a fair price. I would recommend Jardines for any event you might want to host.

We got married on 9/26/25 at Wedgewood Carmel, with our ceremony on the beach and our reception in the Merienda Room — and it was truly the most perfect day! Everything ran so smoothly, and we had an absolute blast celebrating with our family and friends. We used all of Wedgewood’s vendors except for the officiant (we had a family member marry us) and went outside the package for our florist, which was worth the splurge. The venue itself is breathtaking, both the beach and reception spaces are naturally beautiful, so it didn’t need much beyond florals and greenery to highlight the setting. I dropped off a box of my décor on rehearsal day, and the team executed everything flawlessly. It looked like a dream! The Wedgewood team was incredible throughout the entire planning process and wedding day. Any time we had a question or concern, they were quick to help and reassure us. At one point, I was nervous about being over the guest count for our room, and they immediately called to ease my worries and offer solutions. Even when we had an unexpected issue with our dog on the wedding day, they stepped right in and helped handle it. Truly, they have your back for anything you might need. I also recommend leaning on their team for décor guidance — they’re so knowledgeable and will help you figure out what’s actually worth including. The food was delicious (we chose the buffet), and we had so many guests tell us how much they loved it. For music, we gave the DJ our Spotify playlists to capture our vibe, and he absolutely nailed it. We’ve had countless guests tell us this was the most fun and best wedding they’ve ever attended, which says it all. I have zero regrets choosing Wedgewood Carmel and would relive this day a hundred times over if I could.

We had our wedding reception in the ballroom at The Grove on 09/27/2025 and couldn't be happier with our experience. We had a hard time finding venues in Santa Cruz that could accommodate more than 150 people. Not only is the Grove larger than other venues, it's more affordable than some of the alternatives we looked at. Our coordinator was Sabrina and she was lovely to work with. Communication was easy, everyone was so kind and helpful. You truly get the sense that the people who work here are passionate about what they do. We were lucky that no one was using the room the day before our event and the venue was generous enough to let us do a lot of the set up the day before. The day of our wedding was like clockwork. Everything matched the floor plan Sabrina created. Food was ready on time and tasted great. People always say something will go wrong the day of the wedding, but really nothing did. What's also special about this venue is the ability to control the natural light. I dreamed of having a candlelit dinner, and I was able to have that despite it being completely bright at 5pm. Another asset was the dressing rooms and bathroom behind stage. I had to completely undress to use the bathroom so l appreciated the privacy. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Monterey Beach Station helped us have our dream wedding by the beach. My main requirements were an ocean view and great food, and this venue absolutely delivered on both. Charlene was amazing to work with and partnered seamlessly with our vendor team. The Events by Classic team is organized and pleasant, and they made everything easy. When we wanted something custom they didn't typically offer (like mezcal), they made it simple for us to acquire and have it at our wedding. On the day of, their experience really showed. It was super windy, and Charlene had great advice on how to handle my long veil. They were prepared for everything. The food was also a major highlight — all of our guests complimented how delicious it was! Thank you so much to the Events by Classic team for helping us have the wedding of our dreams!

I recently had my wedding reception in the Seaside Room and it was absolutely amazing. A beautiful new building with such cute décor/design, clean carpets, a kitchen and very comfortable chairs (which is a bonus). I would recommend this room to anyone who asked. The staff was helpful and easy to talk to and the price was just right.

By the terrace is to DIE FOR!!!, Just amazing.... I recommend this place for a small/medium/large event, this is the place and as the GUEST, you are treated as such...I already eat at your deli and your restaurant but now I have a new dish to request on my next visit. Once again THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING.

There were occasional gaps in communication during the planning but, overall, we eventually got everything into place. Suggestions made by Fox were very helpful and fit well with my daughter's concept of the evening.

This was the wedding of our dreams. Everything was perfect from the venue to the De Leal team who executed everything we agreed on for our wedding. Our guests complimented the food & beverage, the design, and told us it was the best wedding they’ve attended. Our Coordinator Samantha was working really hard all evening and helped relieve stress. Gabriela the hotel manager made all of our guests feel at home. Our guests shared compliments of the cleanliness of their rooms. We were very satisfied and happy to have picked this place.

This review is long overdue. I photographed a wedding here in 2023, and it was such a beautiful experience. The owners were so nice, and their property is breathtaking. There was plenty of room for getting ready, storing and serving food, a cocktail hour, and more. Not to mention the uniquely stunning ceremony spot nestled in the redwoods—complete with a wooden deck perfect for dressing up with whatever florals and decor you want. As a bonus, they have super cute dogs who were only let out after all the guests asked for them, well after all the food was put away. I would totally recommend this spot to stay or for an event.
