We rented Camp Letts for a fall wedding weekend. My daughter and her husband met through another YMCA camp and wanted to share their love of camp with their family and friends.

They were looking for a weekend location where they could host the wedding ceremony, reception and provide camping accommodations & activities for all of the guests. My daughter found Camp Letts while searching online.
I had trouble finding any recent reviews about the place; however, we visited the camp and thought it would be perfect! And it was! There is some coordinating to be done (music, party rentals, liquor license and bartenders, for example), but we found it to be worth the effort. A wedding planner made the job easier.

The camp is surrounded by nature and the Rhode river. The dining hall is large and has beautiful windows overlooking the river. The wrap around porch has rocking chairs to enjoy the gorgeous sunsets. The boat house provided a beautiful view of the river and a centralized spot for the bridesmaids to get ready, while the dock was a wonderful spot for a first look. The woodsy feel of the fork was a magical place for the wedding ceremony. We scheduled multiple activities throughout the weekend: zip-lining, canoeing and bonfires.

The staff is among some of the nicest, most dedicated and accommodating people I have ever met. We worked with Hannah throughout the planning process. During the weekend Hannah, along with Dave and others were onsite to ensure things went well and that we had a remarkable time. The food was well done and reasonably priced. My favorite was Keira’s pulled pork with blueberry BBQ sauce.

The camp has been around for many years and they are consistently improving and updating. The cabins have bunks with bathrooms, heat and electricity. It is a rustic, beautiful venue. We have wonderful memories and hope to go back some day - maybe for an anniversary or family reunion!

My fiancé and I had difficulty meeting with the event director. He was approximately 30 minutes late to our appointment and he never got back to us via phone or email about our pricing package for our wedding.
